- On this video we talk about One Piece Live Action Season 2 Casting. Erin Maloney might be playing the role of Nico Robin in One Piece Live Action Season 2 on Netflix. Better get some nice, fair-skinned lass, get her tanned to perform pre-timeskip... and get to her regular complexion for post-timeskip. If that series even gets there.
It's funny because I saw a lot of people complaining that she looked too young when she was cast as Yennefer in The Witcher
I think right now they already confirmed the actors , but they're not officially announce it yet.
Are you not aware Brina Palencia is the English voice actress for Chopper in the Funimation dub of One Piece?

I have been trying like crazy to be Chopper! I have puppetry skills, years of theatre, and a love of the series. Plus I'm pretty tall!
I feel like Jamie Lee Curtis as Kureha is a safe bet at this point, also ngl I kinda like the idea of Marcin Dorociński playing Crocodile (I'm Polish so I might be a lil bias), for me he surely looks the part and I know that he can act, the only thing that could put someone off is his accent, but that actually could fit Crocodile, idk Im curious what you guys think

I agree that Alexander Ludwig as Smoker is iffy, Smoker imo should be a bit more gruff, kinda like Harrison Ford in his younger movies.

Nico Robin should be Bonney pirate from Black Sails. Her name is Clara Paget. She does such an incredible job and her age is thirty-five. Ace actor I would choose as Noah Centineo.

I’m neither here nor there for most of those fan casts cause I know they’ll pick the best options, whether they physically resemble the character or not. But Jamie as Kureha really needs to happen (and probably has the highest likelihood tbh). And Xolo as Ace never crossed my mind but he would legit be PERFECT. Like I can so easily picture it too and he can definitely channel the vibes of Ace. Looking forward to the official announcements though!

season 1 = season 2 / garp (chasing marine) = smoker (chasing marine) / shanks = ace / arlong (final enemy season 1) = crocodile (final enemy season 2) / luffy bounty = all strawhat bounty / (final fight would be luffy vs crocodile , zoro vs dazbones , sanji vs bonclay , chopper and ussopp vs mr 4 and miss merry xmas / nami vs miss 2x finger ....ending part would be in season 1 is barrel oath = season 2 vivi x mark farewell!!
Javier Bardem would be the perfect Crocodile.

@@boredbeck I'd go with Karl Urban or Jeffery Dean Morgan. They might be too big of names. I think a reasonable pick would be Tom Ellis . I think Adrien Brody would absolutely dominate, but he would be so good regular people would think he was a regular on the show. An Alabasta will end up being 2 or 2 1/2 episodes. Whoever they get will probably not get paid a cray amount.

Smoker should be a rough around the edges kinda guy, and Negan is almost that, almost like Mike Ehrmantraut from Breaking Bad too (the character, not the actor)
@@boredbeck Jeffry Dean Morgan would have been a brilliant smoker years ago, but he has aged out of the part now. I have heard rumors of Charlie Hunnam as Smoker, and he would be the ideal fit.
Considering how expensive it will be to film an ep I feel like the best choice is to hire lesser-known actors that will be good in the role, like they did in season 1. I feel like Jamie Lee Curtis will have to be cast consider all the hype but her aside I'm looking forward to discovering more actors I don't know. It could be cool if each season they can get one famous actor like s2 JLC, s3 Eminem lol, etc. I'm still holding out hope they'll cast someone Russian to play Robin, but I get that probably won't happen due to the weirdness with Robin's skin color in the anime. I'd also love it if Tashigi was played by the same actress who played Kuina in s1 but that could be too confusing so it probably won't happen. I wish they'd release the casting news already!

Anywa chalotra for Nico Robin? Huh? Another blackwashing? She already appropriated a character from my culture in The Witcher's Yennefer. She ain't touching Nico Robin, I tell ya! What, would they chalk her up for the post-timeskip? TF?
Also I will believe Jamie Lee Curtis is a fan of One Piece when her actions say so. For me all them Hollyweird types say "Oh I'm fan of this and that since I was a kid!" and usually that's a load of bull. We'll see. Also my countryman Marcin AIN'T NOW WAY SUITED to play Sir Crocodile. Maaaaybe Smoker. That's more of a vibe I get form him from his previous roles. But Smoke's prolly cast already.
They need to hire YOUNG actors and actresses, because the show will last forever. And they will become skilled and famous anyway, so no need to take someone already famous and thus expensive. Plenty of fish in the ocean
This list is dead. Jamie Lee yes, if she takes a pay cut. The characters will most likely be newer actors. Casting based on looks and not an actor's ability to portray the character is the dumbest fucking thing ever. Anna Sawai would be the perfect Robin, but her stock as an actor went up.

Robin is russian, but she got tanned at alabasta. I can't believe Netflix is casting latino for Robin. I really didn't like season 1 mainly due to bad writing by netflix. Those Garp fillers or Zoro lullaby scene instead of Don Krieg arc or many legendary scenes like Sanji vs Kurobi underwater. Luffy vs Don Kried defined Luffy character that he is not afraid of poison or spears to achieve his dream, and that moved Sanji to pursue his dream. The suspense of Arlong park was all about heavily wounded Zoro and Luffy drowning. NONE of Cocoyashi village characters were as impactful as they should have been. Garp reveal or Garp vs Luffy was done in worst way possible, it really felt like some random weeb cosplay show on festival.
I found the hater, bitch and moan about it.
