    You did such an amazing and thorough review of this mower! I just purchased this exact same mower about 2 weeks ago. My review should be online tomorrow. My review is nowhere as good as yours though lol. I absolutely love this mower so far!!!

    I just bought the 18" version of this mower, (Walmart $247) and it is awesome! first off, I have a very small lawn to mow so this is perfect for my needs and as long as the battery (yes it's all about the battery!) keeps a charge once winter has passed and summer returns all is good but if it doesn't and seeing as how the battery (Amazon) is $140 all bets are off and I will be pissed! I just mowed my lawn, and it was about 3" high, and this beast took it right down. now let's get back to the battery.... first it takes about 4 hours to charge the battery and as I said it's going to cost you at least $140 for a replacement if needed! if you only need about 30-40 minutes of mowing time this is for you but after that it can get expensive, just dont forget to mount the side shoot onto the side of the mower because if you use it to mulch it will run your battery down faster as opposed to using the shoot and letting the grass out the side.

    Both the Hart and the Ryobi are in their third year of use. I own both because I purchased the Ryobi for myself and I purchased the Hart to cut my elderly Father in Law's grass. I would probably purchase both again. I don't think I will ever go back to a gas mower they have come a long way. When you hit a area where the grass is a little thicker or higher they automaticly increase their motor speed to deal with it just like as gas mower. The handle folds easily and you can stand them up on end so they take up less space. Also when you finish mowing they are so light and you don't have to worry about gas leaking out so you just put it on it's side and clean out under them.

      I've never had any gas mower increase its speed in tall grass. Been mowing for 50 years now.

    Something I forgot is that the batteries do not interchange between the Hart and the Ryobi, and I wish they sold replacement blades for Hart mowers in Walmart stores. They sell replacement blades for their gas mowers but not for Hart mowers. Hart trimmer heads on Walmart shelves would be nice as well.

    I've had this mower for over a year now and I live in the desert I have half an acre that is all dirt/rock/gravel and with a lot of weeds. I have not had the time or money to landscape that area yet, but we want to keep the weeds down to help keep the desert critters out of our area. So far this has worked perfectly. Even over rough area's with a lot of rock and gravel, no issues and have not yet seen any chips in the blade either.

    Very cool video, I have been researching mowers for a while. Like your son I just bought my first house and needed a mower and ended up purchasing this model as well. I have had great experiences with all of my other electric hart tools, from trimmers to drills, and I expect nothing less from the mower. I do not abuse my tools though and only use them for household tasks, so not sure how they would hold up in a commercial environment, but I don’t think that’s their main target demographic. My only gripe so far is that the magnet on the battery cover on mine is missing, so when I tip it to carry it certain ways, it hangs open. I will not be returning it for that though, I’m sure I can figure out a little fix. Tomorrow I will do my yard, today is a bit wet. Same as well, I used a corded electric at my grandmas about 10 years ago and it got the job done but definitely wasn’t a great experience. I was amazed to see electric rideons as well

    This isn't self propelled is it? I guess it's small enough it wouldn't be too hard to push till the bag is full. I think you should order a second blade and any part that receives wear however. I got their 20v trimmer, love it, but some parts are no longer available. So I've learned to look for the weaknesses in Hart products. I may buy it, still deciding over a self propelled gas mower though. Nice walk through.

    • @vlreviews
      @vlreviews  Год назад +1

      This isn't self propelled. This mower is so lightweight, it doesn't need it. And it'll be in mulch mode permanently. The bagging system will never be used.

    I just bought this today. It will be delivered for free tomorrow with Wal-Mart+. Did you find out what the red protrusion is underneath the lid? It is a little loud and sounds rough. I just hope it is easier to turn that my big Honda self a propelled gas mower. The Honda's auto choke doesn't work anymore so it is also very hard to start.

    Mine works OK, but I also own a Ryobi, and even though they are supposed to be made by the same company, the Ryobi feels better while in use. Also the Ryobi can be set to cut lower than the Hart. The only problem I have had with either is the Left side of the Hart's handle repeatedly gets loose. I also own A Hart and a Ryobi 40 volt trimmers and they both work well but here I would give the nod to the Hart trimmer. My advice is to not buy the auto feed string version of either one because every time you stop the trimmer it advances the line whether you need it or not so then when you start it again you hear the line hitting the cut off and a lot of line gets waisted.

    • @VacLab
      @VacLab Год назад

      So far, the Hart trimmer doesn't quite advance the line fast enough while in use. It's close though.

    Hi I'm having the same problem with my HART 40-Volt Cordless 20-inch Push Mower (1) 6.0 Ah Lithium Ion Battery like it'll run for a few seconds, then it will automatically turn itself off The handles are locked in. Place the keys in place and the batteries and place. Like when I pull the battery out and kind of push it back in there a little bit harder. It'll run for a few seconds and it stops and have to keep doing the same process over and over again. Can you help out with that?
