8 Minis go to Minions

- It was time to put my mini's recent training to the test and take all eight ponies out across Bodmin moor for a little adventure. We started at Minions...yes that is right my minis went to Minions! lol Before heading out across the moor working together as a team. Naturally there is a tea pot and an awesome spot of wild swimming too!

In 1982 when I was a young woman I put a pack saddle on a Welsh Sec A pony called Grace and walked along the South Downs Way into Hampshire. Grace carried all my camping gear and we never booked campsites, we just knocked on farmer's doors and asked if we could camp in a corner of their field; we were never turned away. You never forget such a time, or the kindness of strangers. Your little ponies with their pack saddles took me straight back :)

This was such a beautiful trek! All the little ones dutifully following their leader - their packs and boots on. Loved it so much. Emma you need a shop (LOL) - trek packs, boots, camping gear, wetsuits, tiny hay nets, lead lines ...
What a fantastic way to give them a more natural life!

I love her because she clearly has so much trust in her animals and I love that about her, she just lets them do their think while they walk. Yup that’s why their trained so great BECUZ she trusts them. :)
So true! That’s what i noticed as well. That way they can show their true potential☺️ Me as a bit of a controle freak did the same with my cat, she managed herself very well while moving 4 times without problems. My dog is a different story, a Pitbull so i can’t just let him walk around everywhere, wish i could but it’s not safe. Dogs don’t like him and he does not like other dogs since the age of 3, before that he was fine with all dogs. He got attacked by 2 goldens and luckely he did nothing back, licked the goldens mouth and came to me and gave me a look; i want to go home now! I use to take care of horses when i was younger, one horse was going to be put down due to an infection on the legs but i manage to cure it with a lot of work every day 4 times cleaning. The owner had mental problems and she asked me to do it and i did. I saved his life and did not ride him once. The owner was riding him against the advice of the vet while the horse was criple. Some people should not own animals😒.
In beginning the horse would kick when i touched the wounds on his legs but after a few days he trusted me and i could do anything with him☺️.
They are all so adorable and work so nicely together! Beautiful scenery!

A few years ago I went to minions (with my family, not my horses 😅) we found a marvelous tea room and really enjoyed the trip ☺️ (we're from Germany)
It's just so sweet to see all the pony-butts hopping up and down 😂😂

Usually you're out with loose animals.
This little chain of shorties was adorable.
Like the dip in the quarry too.
The country side is gorgeous, color changing and those ruins, nice music and drone shots.
Great trip and little pink shoes so cute. Camera person sounded so out of breath bless but some wonderful shots including the aerial ones. They worked so well as a team and yes i think they loved the trip as did you. Good to see you back with another trip out.💛👍💛
I'm human and I adore Albert so I completely understand little Peggy. Lol. And also, since we all know there is a camera person who hopefully got that second cuppa, it would feel more natural to me if we would, for example, see that cuppa changing hands. That is not to have them co-star the vids as there's you and the horsies for that but to just acknowledge their existence. We'd still know that the work with the ponies is all yours so it wouldn't take anything away from the adventure for me. Just my 2 cents, obviously. ;)

To whoever was filming huge thumbs up. Soooooo beautifully done I had tears running down my face. As always, Emma hit it out of the park creating a really wonderful experience to share with the world. Adore how enthusiastic she is about how cute her ponies are and how fun it is. Sometimes when your in it, with all the work and all the keeping tabs, it's easy to forget how truly wonderful what you have is. She never does.

There is a route up the cheese ring that Richard lucas use to take us that you wouldn’t believe
that you could get a horse up but we followed and up we went.
