He did play really well I also play a lot of villager the only issue I had is he could have been pocketing Kirbys up special move and used it against him for pressure.

(Kirby main) literally just realized how crazy it can be as an edge guarding tool, think about it it covers nearly ever get up option

This gave me some mad respect for Kirby.
I think if Panda Bair tried to pocket the final cutters, he’d have a super quick powered up projectile every 10 seconds and Jeja would adapt to use final cutter less, and have one less approach option. Also, I wonder why PBair didn’t try wall jumping to mix up recoveries on Yoshi’s Island and Kalos

For villager mains are villager and Isabelle interchangeable against different counterpicks? Or is it like a complete rewiring of the brain to switch between the two
Interchangeable quite enough. But with Kirby i'd still pick villager
Definitely interchangeable depending on the matchup. Both have different strengths and weaknesses. Isabelle is better at close quarters and ledge trapping so she deals with counter zoning a little better than villager does but villager has better zoning, camping, edge guarding and recovery.
