It's based on a Chinese web novel called heaven official's blessing (tian guan ci fu). This is the opening for the donghua (Chinese anime). The donghua will be dubbed in Japanese.

@@judethefourth336 you can actually find the original chinese version with english subs in netflix! also to add to what purplepinkskies first said; it's based on a chinese novel that also has a web novel (comic). the donghua in netflix is under the same name: heavenly official's blessing. here's what the plot is more or less about: the protagonist is a scrap-collecting god who ascends for the third time to heaven after being banished twice, then solves a couple of ghost hunting cases in the mortal realm. the novel goes way beyond what the donghua covers, so i would absolutely recommend reading the novel if you like the donghua! i can't exactly point you to where to read the novel but i'm sure you can find it if you look it up on google. good luck!
