Does a double rig really sink faster than a single rig? I don’t think the math works that way. If you have a 3/8 and a 1/8 I wonder if it sinks as fast a 1/2 oz. The two jigs fall at their own rate I think. Not sure. Always wondered.

It's axiomatic among anglers that double-rigs sink faster and hold bottom better in current, but I see your point, and your question has me wondering. My daughter has a master's in physics. I'm going to run this by her, and see what she says.
