National Mass Care Exercise with the Red Cross

  • I was an EmComm Volunteer for a National Mass Care Exercise here in Pennsylvania. I reported to an American Red Cross shelter and provided communications over 2M Voice, Winlink HF and HF voice.
    I was able to accomplish all tasks. Successful exercise.

    Very interesting video are you a member of an emergency organisation? We have something called RayNet in the UK 🇬🇧 but I don’t think they do things like this in my area.

      I am part of ARES here in the US. The Amateur Radio Emergency Service. I'm the lead for my area.
      We normally do a spring and fall exercise, but this was something special.

    What is your amplifier?

      It is a Juma PA100-D. I'll do a true video review when I get a chance, but it is working great with the 705.
