Those are the values to look for, the under the radar kind of models. Very rad.

An awesome guitar! I know it's actually blue, but i the video looks very 'Audiomo' brand appropriate colour, look and tone wise :) also a lovely explanation/brief insight into the history and model variations and lovely tones and playing as ever!

Tks a lot. This was really timely as I had recently search info on bacchus and I was really confused with their line up and the country of origin of their guitars. Did you have the opportunity to test the global series ? How does it compare to similar range of guitars (fender player, sire...) ? And by the way I find the "handmade instrument " written on their headstock very misleading ! Thanks a lot

I have 4 bacchus handmade guitars and completely agree with you. Awesome guitars.
The global stuff when i first got into bacchus was made in philipines and had some cool looking mango wood guitars. The new ones that look like les pauls are cool looking, i think there even was a flying v with telecaster pickups not long ago.
If you look at some used momose prices, its crazy how good deal they are!

I’ve got two of the global series from the Philippines, a Tele and Strat style, both are great guitars. The hardware seems to hold up better as far as wear and corrosion compared to similarly priced Pacificas that I have. Good pups, resonant bodies, good necks. I did replace the trem block on the Strat style but that’s all. On the Tele I went with a Fralin pup in the bridge to match the p90 output better.
Best bang for the buck IMO, the gig bags are decent too.
There’s a Momose offset at a local music store that’s incredibly beautiful, I just may have to get it.

Love your videos! Couple years ago, I saw one of these “handcrafted in Japan” for a super reasonable price in mint condition, but I could not find any info on it. All I found were made in China, so I passed on it, mainly because I thought it it`s probably a fake 😊Well, now I know.

Very nice instrument! I wanted to purchase a Japan-made Tikal Love Rock. Do you know any way to identify which ones are made in Japan and whether the woods, hardware, electronics, and finishes (i.e. nitro) are similar to a USA-made Gibson? I would prefer to buy new rather than used but I haven’t seen any Japanese dealers listing anything other than used and based on the prices they look like they are Chinese-made. Nothing wrong with that but if that’s the case I might as well just buy an Epiphone and avoid the hassle of shipping, duties, and unknown construction and component quality.

How good is the global series.? I am thinking of getting one. O have a Tokai Japan made LP ULS 129. you think there is a chance of disappointment with Bacchus Global series if compared with Tokai??

There’s always a chance with the import brands, however it could be great! I wouldn’t consider a Global series because used Japanese made bacchus are so cheap there’s no reason to.
