Totally helped. Thank you. I know it seems like something so easy but didn't want to mess up any spokes with undue pressure and have the wheels end up being not true. Thanks again.
Thanks. The key is to push while turning. What a blessing you were to me with your video. I had one that I was trying to get off and it just would not turn. Went to RUclips watched your Vid and presto! Thanks for taking the time to explain it. My only mistake was not pushing while turning. Such a simple thing to know but without that little pushing it just would not turn. THANK YOU! And GOD that led me to you! And THANK GOD FOR YOU and for making this Very Helpful Video!!! AMEN!
You have beautiful voice and nice hands. Your video really helps. Not like the other one I saw he just broke the screw as a normal way of removing the reflector.
Those of you defending reflectors for nite, you should just use a nice head and tail light instead, and if your dead set on reflectors, get rid of these idiotic looking ones and buy newer style nicer ones, not these crappy clanky turds.
The problem is being visible from the side. That's what these are for. They just need to be designed properly using quality aluminum, not garbage Chinese plastic.
That was easy thanks. I had bought a second set of spoke lights. Plus use spoke reflectors. Riverside bike trails close quick with rain. Lighting up for night rides in town.
I watched this because I thought she was going to do a funny prank. I didn't know some people really couldn't figure out how to remove them lol geeeeez.
Unlike most road cyclists, I absolutely refuse to remove my wheel reflectors. As a cyclist who sometimes rides at night, I'd rather look uncool than be dead. I agree with ruszalam1. You should not remove your reflectors.
Except those type of reflectors do little in making you visible, vs lights, or new style, well-placed reflectors or strips/vests. IE: I have a red tail light/rear red reflector under seat, and a white light /front white reflector on front of my handlebars. I am visible from all angles even at a great distance, and these style of reflectors are a thing of the past.
Ha Ha this only works if the reflector has a moulded slot to put the screwdriver in. Mine only had a faint line where it should be. Smashed it off in anger and frustration lol.

Very helpful. As soon as you said counter clockwise, my first reflector was out. Great video. Thank you so much

She was younger by 11 years when she made this video. Voice might be diff now 😆
Thanks from Australia!! I didn’t want to break anything. This was helpful.
But the question is, what broke (on you or the bike) when the truck hit you during the evening ride?
Thank you for the help tried it gave up this video popped up now the reflectors out ❤❤❤
Thanks for posting this. I couldn't find any instructions on changing the reflectors in my bike books. :)

@@mikefrr1 good, how about you?
I just took mine off my new Felt, I came here because they didn't come straight off and I didn't want to bend a spoke, thanks for this clip !
Your a life saver. I been trying to figure out for months and your video just made my day.

Crazy. I thought I was the only one trying to remove this. THANKS, Now I know.
Thanks. You have inadvertently just shown me how to intall one.
Thank you. Simple and effective. I spent about half an hour wrestling with these things last time I bought a bike. This time: about 10 seconds :-)

The things you know are easy, the rest are hard until you know how.
the reflector on mine doesn't come on these clips
You need a wider size screwdriver I believe.
I tried this but all that happened was the plastic screw shaved off, so I just ended up breaking it off
How do you brake it
Thank you, that really helped!

I'm trying to remove the reflector from an old wheel and put it on my new wheel that came without reflectors. For me, this video helped me be safe.
yep. i remove mine in the morning but for night ride, you have to install those.

I ride bmx and my bike came w/ the light reflector, for a bmx it only will make more weight to the tricks.
+millenium2003 I got a new wheel that didn't come with a reflector and would like to move the old reflector to the new wheel.
reflectors are gay. come on!
They add extra weight and if its dark autumn or something, i usually have a light anyways
