- After 4 hours of attempts, Odin pulls a huge clutch, helping me make a huge push towards clearing the level. Did I deserve this? Probably not, but it's nice to see Odin (who a lot of people say is trash) do something other characters dream of doing. I actually use him as a sorcerer tank or crit-stacking sorcerer . People are just to lazy to put in the work for him but he is a deadly unit
Not sure I agree that units that require a lot of work are always worth it. If you can get unit A to do 100 damage and unit B to do 50, then Unit A is effectively no better most of the time since unit B can kill most units anyway. If Unit A ALSO requires a lot of work to raise, then Unit B is overall better for the sake of efficiency.
Still, not always the case.
I turn him into a Dark to make him the supreme edgy weeb darknight anti-hero and he turned really good, when I pair him up with his daughter he is an absolute unit and he looks really good xd
@@BlueMountain1992 3 years late, but as an Odin fan I have to stand up for my boy. 'A lot of work' is actually just two heart seals and a master seal, which isnt that big of a deal when odin can gain 2 levels every map from just nos tanking. Once he gets to level 18 heart seal to samurai to get vantage and the other skill which should be easy thanks to heart seeker and some dual strikes. Once he gets to level 20, master seal up to either master of arms for seal strength or swordmaster for astra. Either way, you get a mage who is bulky and speedy enough to survive one attack from every enemy, and restore his own hp thanks to nos. Most of the time he doesnt even need a dual striker because his damage output becomes insane. Granted he may need a few spirit dusts thanks to his levels in other classes, but they're not absolutely necessary because a pair up, tonic and meal can help out rng screwed stats. All in all, Odin is a relatively low cost, high reward unit, with an amazing daughter to boot.

A similar thing happened to me with my vantage/astra kaze, except along with astra and vantage and crits he was also proccing frickin' LETHALITY!!! Easily the single coolest experience I've had in the entirety of fates.
