Pretty amazing that he can rapidly take the pump apart in the right order, throw dozens of pieces into a colander, tell the ones that need replacing, and put them all back together in the correct order. The mind boggles.

There's a guy\channel called @Dean Dougherty who fixes power tools out of a tool shop in Ireland. He's another one who amazingly takes all these 173 parts, throws them on the bench\basket on disassembly, finds\fixes
eplaces problem part, then puts all the little parts & pieces all back together. It's also amazing to watch how he does it. He is super knowledgeable and also explains the parts & failures. Like Corey here at ADS, Dean is really very good at their chosen profession\career. Check him out, I guarantee you'll be shocked & amazed watching him toss parts & then meticulously putting them all back together correctly! 👍🏻👌🏻🛠️🔩🔧🧰🔌🔋

Hi guys I love watching your channel here on the tube I discovered you when watching an episode of Diesel Creak one of my favorites and now there’s a bunch of others that have popped up as well that I have discovered watching your channel you are a good bunch of guys resurrecting this old equipment and being a middle aged farmer it’s right up my alley finding old basket cases and putting them back together because it’s what I could afford and now that I’m disabled I have moved to the Philippines it’s not easy to find old equipment to work on because they either run it until there’s nothing left to rebuild or you can’t find the parts to rebuild it except for my 96 Toyota liteace van I’ve managed to keep it running like a top very pleased with it even though it’s almost 30yrs old I hope these videos bring you a lot of business!

The teardown & buildup of components is interesting. The determination of the final tuning adjustments during bench check/test cell IMHO is more interesting. Worked Test Cell for many years in the propulsion world. There is a specialty with reviewing dynamic data. The end result is adjusting components to obtain peak performance.

    So I was thinking....
With the advances of electronics etc, wouldn't it be possible to make a generic, adaptable replacement pump?
I've seen a few videos where you end up searching high and low for replacement parts for technically obsolete machines.
Perhaps there is a market for an electric/electronic solution.
    Or maybe there already is?
I realize the desire to stay mechanical and original. But I'm betting there are more people interesting in a running machine than in a static display.
And as long as it doesn't require cutting chunks out of the engine block, there's no reason the engine could be returned to the original configuration if so desired.
