Chevy HD hood conversion for your GMC truck, full video

Lets cut up a Chevy HD hood to fit the GMC Sierra truck together. Full instructions and lessons learned along the way.
I can definitely say if I would do it again I would do a few things differently next time around.
In this video we tackle it all from templating, to cutting, rust repair, body work, and painting this HD hood to fit on this GMC Sierra.
Full disclaimer I'm not a professional body shop so when my customer and friend asked me to do it I was a bit gun shy and it was definitely a learning experience but I'm glad we took it on because it allows you to learn and expand your skill set for next time around.
I hope this video helps you as I looked around and did not find a video I really liked so I tried to make this one as detailed as possible.

Excellent video! Trial and error is always good. You’re right bout other videos and using those techniques for your own. I’m considering this project for my Yukon since my factory hood swing wide open and bent at the hinges 😂😂😂(didn’t latch it/lock if properly since I was going for a test drive after I finished the water pump 😂)
So, I gotta a damaged/bent template hood as well lol and now gotta go get/find a HD hood.
(Liked how you didn’t show the welding, grinding , the cutting and just skipped all that since it wasn’t necessary to see how “welding works” on a bare camera lens ruining all our eyes lol) 😎😎👍👍👍
