Bud!!! Don’t stop what your doing it’s fantastic!!! Love the humour you add to the videos! I’ve learned so much from just these two tiger videos to last me a lifetime keep it up! Look forward to more dioramas as well take care keep the glue flowing! Peace and be healthy
Thanks Terry, much appreciated mate, I am glad you got something out of the video. Cheers Glen
I was a kid when I built my first Tiger I, if memory serves I believe it was this kit, the box looked familiar. Of course the mud currently on my Tiger I is from 1972ish as I played with mine outside and often. All us kids had a massive collection because these things could be had for a few bucks way back when... We'd cut grass or do odd jobs to make a buck or two, then go buy a model then rinse and repeat... LOL... EDIT: Oh, I forget to say, yes I still have it, it's my most prized possession...
I remember putting a Italeri Panzer 2 outside for weeks because I thought that's how "weathering" was done, I clearly wasn't too bright as a kid 😜
@@HalidonDioramas I just wanted to get mine dirty so I played with in the mud LOL... How ppl use Paints to get Weathering is just amazing and sadly that skill is lost on me... LOL...
Hi! Gavin shouted you out, so i came and watched this awesome build. Excellent job done on the Tiger. Looking forward to see more. Thanks for sharing, take care and keep up the good work.
Hey, thanks. Much appreciated, but you shouldn't believe anything Gav says 😜😜😜
@@HalidonDioramasLol. That's why i came by myself to see.
Nice looking kitty mate, and congratulations on 5000 subs 😉👍
Thanks 👍
Congratulations on 5000🥂, great tiger, keep it up. Greetings Thomas
Thanks Thomas, much appreciated mate. I just watched your VW Camper video, absolutely wonderful work, I am blown away buy your talent 👍👍👍
@@HalidonDioramas Thank you very much my friend👍
Fantastic Glenn as always just a fun time all around. Like the mad crowd hahaha. And congrats on the 5000 subs👍👍
Thanks Clay, well I had to go with the crowd as I couldn't put footage of the Alien probing, I would have got a You Tube strike 😱😱😱
@@HalidonDioramas
Yes yes you'd have gotten the teachers paddle forsure. Youpoop doesn't know or care about comedy or free speech. 🤔
Most beautiful and impressive weathering...Congrats!
Thank you so much Phil 😀
Congrats on the 5k. Well deserved my friend. Another great Tigger build, Great vid
Thanks Steve, much appreciated. Congrats on having the correct guess mate, please drop me a line via email so we can arrange your winning guess prize 🏆🏆🏆
Many thanks indeed my friend. Much appreciated. I will send you an email in due course. Happy modelling my friend
Excellent build and tutorial. Congratulations on your subscriber count. Keep the builds, tricks and tips coming.
Thanks Dherm, much appreciated 👍
Just found your channel an subbed on the spot. Your Tiger looks way better than the 'mock up' (I'm being generous here) in the film. For a multi million dollar Spielberg film, that is one shoddy faux-Tiger I. I'm mid way through my kit. Think I'll watch SPR and have a bash at your great idea.
Thanks David, welcome aboard, and thanks for the compliment, very much appreciated mate
Many congratulations on reaching 5000, amazing video on the Tiger
Thanks Liam, much appreciated my friend.
My pleasure, keep up the great work :)
CONGRATS, Glen, on the 5,000 subscribers and I see you’re already on the road to 10,000. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Lazza, only 4950 to go 😀
Congrats on the awesome 5000 subs. Great job on the tank and pieces, looking very nice.
Thanks Kim, much appreciated mate, I hope you are keeping well 👍
Awesome work mate , love those tamiya tigers , tc keep modelling :)
Thanks Pete, much appreciated mate. It was great fun to build!
Congratulations on 5000 Glen well deserved my friend Steve sends his love ❤. Nice Tiger those masks worked well will have to give them ago 👍👌👌👌
Thanks Greg, much appreciated mate 👍 Tell Steve he only loves me cos he knows he cant have me 😍😍😍 I liked the surgical tape, it was very easy to work with.
I DEMAND A RECOUNT! I voted for "Saving Private Ryan" early on in this project of yours. There were FOUR votes for "Ryan" -- not three! I have assembled a team of unscrupulous barristers and this is going all the way to the High Court of Australia for resolution, repudiation and reparation! ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS JOB, Glen. Your weathering is spectacular and the stowage is done just right. Lesser can be better in certain instances and this is one of them. Lazza .
Crikey!!! There seems to have been a slight SNAFU. Now I realise you Americans are very litigious, and will sue for a sneeze, but in this instance perhaps some substance exists. Not since Pell v The Queen (2020) HCA 12, has there been a more important task for the HCA. A review of the evidence has been undertaken by my extensive defence team and their feedback to me, is that I don't have a defence, at all, not even a scent of one! Basically they tell me I am fu@ked! Happy to settle outside of the court my friend, on count back you have been awarded joint third place! 😀👍🏆
@@HalidonDioramas A polite gesture on the part of your defense team but no need for a settlement. The public humiliation you have garnered as a result of this bureaucratic SNAFU is more than satisfactory. Doubtful the HCA would ever hear a more significant case but they needn’t be used here. How does it taste to eat crow (or is it magpie)?
@@lawrencereid9375 Well I will have to eat Crow, cos the bloody Magpies down here are more aggressive than the Drop Bears and I wouldn't have the courage to try eating one of them! Of course the HCA have been known to bring down some piss poor decisions, so in spite of the overwhelming evidence in your favour, its not impossible that I could win, but more importantly I have discovered that Crow tastes like chicken 😂
looks really nice, I think the dusty look is more fitting as to what they would have looked like as battlefields are a dusty mess if something gets hit its likely not going to make it
Congratulations on reaching 5000 subscribers. Not an easy task at all. Your Tiger turned out fantastic looking and I really liked the tip on using the low tack surgical type tape for masking. I will have to try that. Thanks for sharing this with us. I’m looking forward to seeing your Rourkes Drift dio. “Zulu” is one of my top ten favorite movies.
Thank you, I was very impressed with the surgical tape, it was very easy to use. Working on the Zulu dio base now, its slowly taking shape. It is a great movie!
Congrats 5k is amazing.
Thank you so much 😀
Congratulations on the 5000, the camo on the Tiger looks excellent.
Thanks Stuart, much appreciated mate 👍
Nice work mate 👍
Thanks for the visit 👍
I always thought in the movie that they made the Tiger too dark for Normandy. It almost looked like a gray paint. Seems in old movies that they always made any German vehicle gray no matter what. When in fact most had a prominent dark yellow base with the green and brown camouflage over it.
True, I suspect that if you are not really into the history grey is the assumed default 😋
Your as pleasant person to listen to
Thank you
I lost all my Tanks and other builds because my condo burned
So now although the insurance will pay a bit for them , it is isn’t enough
And all that work is gone now
Yet a second time in my life this has happened
Second time my models were destroyed
Is what I mean 😢
Thanks Michael, appreciate the feedback. That's terrible that you lost all your tanks in the firs, very sorry to hear that mate.
Congrats on 5000 subscribers. Eventually I want to do a Tiger I diorama based on the Kelly's Heroes scene where Big Joe, Kelly and Oddball meet the German Tank commander and tell him about the bank. Cannot wait to see your completed diorama of this Tiger.
Thanks Glenn, much appreciated. That would be a cool scene to do for sure 👍
@@HalidonDioramas I'm currently working on a few things. One being a special gift for my kids of my best recreation of a picture of their grandfather from WW2. If it's ok with you I'll send you pics to your email.
@@glennrobbins2372 please do that, I would love to see any pics 👍
lol, your Tiger is more accurate than the fake one in thhe movie, awesome job there mate!
Hey Sarg, thanks mate. How are you going???
@@HalidonDioramas oh, could be better, could be worse, but hey, I woke up today so I guess its better than I hoped for ;)
Love the work bud! Couple questions for ya! What kind of pastels did you use and graphite sticks? Thx bud keeper up
Thanks Terry, both the pastels and graphite pencils are the cheapest ones I could find in a art supply store, nothing special in any way, but work really well for weathering purposes 👍
@@HalidonDioramas great thx man I’ll take a look today!
IIRC they are the same ones they used as tigers in Kellys Heroes.,I see you use milk carton tops for mixing too lol..
I drink lots of coffee, milk lids are always accessible here, i can usually get 5 new ones every week 👍
Great stuff bud, what did you use for the sleeping bags and duffle bags etc?
Thanks Terry, I just grabbed some bit and bobs from the spares box, I really cheated as most of the tarps and bed rolls are from the Master Box modern accessories box of stuff 😆
absolutely lost it at the thai baht
ok - ASMR and it absolutely not being ASMR was pretty good
you can get a lot of things for 5000 baht!
If you look I am in Massachusetts
USA
Your numbers look tiny...the pictures, movies and real tanks I have seen have really tall numbers.
Yes, you are correct, the decals I got were not the ones I was expecting, but I couldn't fins any suppliers in Aus that had the taller ones in stock 😂
I just adore the Tiger I Tank, something about it just reeks Power and Destruction... It's a pity that it was designed by Nazi's hell bent on World Domination... Many German Tank Designs are just menacing as all get out but IMHO the Tiger I was the Best of the Best.
Yes, both the Tiger and the Panther reek of menace, would have been very frightening seeing one of them pop into your area!!!
@@HalidonDioramas Agreed and these were the smaller tanks compared to what came later in the form of Tank Destroyer... It's said that men shit their pants if they heard a Tiger was in the Area, so ya, that's menacing to say the least...
Nice looking kitty mate, and congratulations on 5000 subs 😉👍
Thank you so much Tim, much appreciated 😀
