Hey! I live on vancouver island! so cool that you came here. I love that you said “beautiful free healthcare streets” even tho some parts of downtown victoria look anything but that lmao. So cool that you came over to the island!
Another video from my favorite channel. Also, got my M1 motorcycle license last week. I live just north of Sac, so probably a trip to Mendocino, trusty camera or two in tow, would be a good first trip with.
Such a great video, the vibe, the pacing, the pictures everthing was just amazing. This is the best video I've seen on youtube and I'm here since 2006. Love it ❤, thank you for this treasure!
Great video as always and such a fantastic trip. You and Jason have very different video styles and both are equally entertaining. I'm with you on the coffee front. Coffee/cameras, are my 2 favourite things. I can't load any film in my cameras until I've had my first cappuccino or flat white of the day.
Love it! I am in the PNW, and I am glad you guys finally got here! I almost spit out my coffee when you started talking about the Cullens!! Haha I took my adopted daughter there to see where it all takes place years ago, good times. I want you to know I watch yours and Jason's films over snd over, sometimes as background when I'm making jewelry or working on an art project. Love you crazy camera kids 😉!
I would just say put all your film in a plastic bag. As you’re taking off your shoes at security… take the bag out ask a TSA agent to hand check and should be good to go. :)
That is what I've heard! I just wanted to ask someone who has flown a little with it. Thanks for answering that question ❤ this content is amazing, thank you for making it!

@@BadFlashes it could have been taken with any of the cameras and I still would have loved it for the beautiful group shot that capped your memorable adventure. It will be a photo to cherish for the rest of your life. Too bad Jason’s face ruins it…. JUST KIDDING! 😝🤪😉😊
I had the same focus issue with my Mamiya 6 pano adapter. I think it must be the film not quite sitting in the correct position. It only happened to me once though.
VERY good....entertaining and worth an hour's watch!! I think I like the Lomo 800 the best too!! I've never shot with that, but it is now on my short list of items to get!! Lemme know if y'all ever can make it down New Orleans way.....good drinks here (and I just got a new heavy duty offset smoker from TX..so, BBQ, you know?)
@@BadFlashes Me too. While the video was great and I truly enjoyed it, I typically tend to check out film photography related videos to see how today's younger film photographers are going about exploring this medium. In my opinion (for the 2 cents that it's worth) you not only nailed things like composition and exposure in the images you shared, but your choice of film stocks for any given situation also seemed to be spot on. I'm just a regular guy that has been shooting film for long enough that it's embarrassing, but I was impressed with your images. It was also fun to see my town and the PNW in general as seen through the eyes of yourself, Jason and the others. Take care and shoot well.
Influencer marketing attribution can be tough to measure. In my case, it’s easy: I watched this and immediately tried Lomo 800 and got hooked just in time to take advantage of the price-cut stock-up. Nice. (Like, in case that helps Birgit with a coffee expense approval or whatever)
I love the fact that you inclue 8 an 16mm in your footage now. I've been getting into 8mm a bit, it's just so expensive once you add up the facts of development and process, and even if you do go to that point where you do it yourself, the bare minimum unless you shoot Ektachrome or Tri-X for projection, paying someone to scan it.... It can be up to $100 here in Australia for 4k ProRes 4:2:2 just for scanning. That would be OK, but then like, 2:30minutes these days at 24fps. I mean.... Its a lot if you are not doing it in a monetised way like yourself. Lomo turquoise has a lot of that classic Fuji green about it. I never thought about using it in a forest setting like that. I will have to try a roll. Not gonna lie those beaches at 17:00 make me homesick, this look like my home town. But then the Pacific North West looks a lot like the South East coast of Australia. Oregon, Washington, California, it's beautiful.... Staying in a house next to an abandoned house in states where Ted Bundy used to play games and photograph things of the more grotesque type... I would have been out of there lickity split though also.
Those lomo purple shots are to date the only shots I've seen from it that I've liked. Also, let's go Fuji greens and reds! Which I'll probably never be able to shoot again because Superia is dead and their slide film is perpetually out of stock! What ISO did you shoot that NPZ 800 at? Thst was *killer.*
I’m curious about the infrared. I have two rolls but I’m a bit overwhelmed with the process and haven’t shot it yet. Can you shoot it handheld or do you need a tripod?
