What do you guys think about the new trailer?? Also congrats to the winner 👍
Congrats Dale Woodcock.
Love the trailer Josh. U deserve it 💪
Trailer is awesome looking cant wait to see the hauling videos
New trailers awesome !!
Josh- 4 tires/8 tires, that dude has no clue about when you need a cdl.
I know this stuff as I do it for a living.
You've already bought so it’s it’s done, but if you want to know definitively let me know how I can explain it to you. If you can somehow let me know how I can PM you my number, you can call anytime and I’ll gladly explain it to you.
Did the Tahoe go over or under 10 k. Just wondering because we have a 2010.
Congrats to the winner! But dam he sure didn’t seem very excited! 🤤
Used diesel oil mixed with a little diesel fuel painted on a roller. The wood lasts a long time, nice stain color. Repeat the oil mixture a couple times a year for your climate. Only set back is dust sticks to it. With the snow and salt in your area, mix oil and diesel fuel in a cheep gallon sprayer and coat the whole undercarriage. Repeat it after every use in the snow to prevent rust. Trust me on this, my trailer was built in 2010 and still have the same deck and no rust anywhere. Take care of it and it will out last you. Sad thing is that I paid 24 hundred dollars for it brand new and now it sells for 10 grand. That's inflation for you. It costs 10 dollars to register for 5 years and my truck insurance covers it and anything I haul on it.
Congratulations to the '79 Dodge winner, Dale.
Congratulations to you, Josh. Very nice gooseneck.
God bless our veterans.
Thanks Stan
So happy for you brother - faith in God, family and hard work are all you need. Enjoy this will earned trailer!!!
Thanks Nolan
Good people Are worth more than gold in this world . Truck master your legend
Such a great cause, thanks to all who purchased a ticket. Congratulations to the winner!
It’s great to see your hard work paying off and allowing you to be able to purchase the wants in your life!
Amen
Josh, a nice goose neck is long overdue for you. You’ve been working with sketchy trailers for years !! I happy you’re able to pull the trigger and get this new trailer
That is really awesome that you are donate to Vets. Congrats to the winner, really cool old school Truck.
Great looking trailer!! Nothing tows like a good gooseneck it's just so different from a bumper tow in how it tows and maneuvering turns backing up. Great purchase! Congratulations Dale for winning an amazing truck!
You’ll love that goose neck dude. They pull better, carry the load better, and are more maneuverable.
My guy You say you need something next thing you got it. I hope that you have good service out of your trailer. Man I’m really impressed with you. Hope one day I get to meet you. God has blessed you well my friend
God bless James!
Congratulations on the new trailer, that thing looks awesome 👍👍
Congratulations Dale 👍
Nice trailer Josh and thank you for all you do and for your service 👍
🇺🇸🇺🇸👍
Congratulations brother
Awesome trailer bro
Thank you for all you do
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers
Very nice trailer. Goose necks are great. Definitely more stable on the highway than a bumper pull. My father in law tried used motor oil on his trailer. It’s sealed up the wood great and looks good . He waited for a couple weeks of hot weather when the wood was dried out so the oil soaked in well. . I have tried diesel and had similar experience. . Big downfall is slippery with moisture for both . Maybe some kind of traction mat would work on it. I have also tried a heavy wood stain mixed with silica beads . Turned out great. Non slip surface . Downfall of that is the higher cost. I bought a 7x14 cargo trailer 3 years ago for $7200. That same trailer is now $12500 hear in Canada, crazy prices now.
Hell yeah dude. I can't wait until I can buy a gooseneck one day. I hope he keeps the truck
Super cool setup on the trailer. I bought and restored a 1980 Wheeler gooseneck. 18+5. It's an 18k rate trailer. I just put ground treated lumber on it and let it be. I let my project trucks add the oil to the deck 🤣 if the lumber ever gives me problems, im going to stretch the trailer to 28ft. I'll soon be using it to startup my hotshot business. It's a tri axle. Not my preference, but it'll do for now.
Congrats you deserve it and will defiantly put it to good use. Good choice as well!
Congratulations Dale 🎊🎉
That Trailer is Awesome 👍
Congratulations on winning the truck, Dale. Josh - I own a 10k Load Trail tilt deck trailer with a wood bed. I use deck stain on the wood deck to provide some protection - it has worked pretty good for the past 4 years that I have owned it.
Thanks
Great job with the raffle. I bought my tickets solely because of the fact you were donating to the DAV - that was a great idea, and glad that Dillon was involved. Also - that gooseneck trailer will totally solve your transport issues.
that's awesome brotha happy for you guys make sure you oil that deck it will keep the wood in good shape through everything
Congradulations on the new trailer! Also, love the cause that the money in the giveaway went to!
Awesome Trailer!! Gonna really come in handy for your projects. Those ramps are sweet!!
Thanks
Goosenecks are the way to go. I bought a 24 ft Lamar a few years ago and love it. Been offered twice what I paid for it by dealers.
Use the used moror oil and thin it out with some diesel fuel. Also wait until the boards dry out to do it
Congratulations on the new trailer! I’m sure buying new is a value because you’ll take care of it. Buying used you never know how it was taken care of.
And congratulations to the winner for the Dodge truck!
Congratulations on ur trailer.
Congrats on the new trailer, it's very nice!!
Josh, just wanted to say I just started watching your videos. I love everything you do. Keep up the good work brother. Thank you.
Congrats! Congrats Dale!!
Nothing wrong with a load trail trailer! Know a few folks that run them for their businesses and they are some fine trailers!
I bought the load trail 16 foot dump trailer about 3 years ago I love it the tool boxes are great I haul my skidsteer with it handles it great and I can actually haul More material with it then my dump truck I think there well built so ya your going to love it ,congratulations on it
Thanks Perry
Congrats man. That trailer is awesome. You deserve it.
Thanks Brian
Congratulations Dale!
Love the new trailer! I’m auctually a painter/carpenter by trade and we auctually had a request to seal the boards on a trailer last summer. We used Benjamin Moore Arborcoat Translucent with a natural tone. Came out awesome and the water just beads on top, doesn’t soak into the wood. Will 100% prolong the life of the boards. Just coat the top, Leave the bottom un-stained as the wood needs some breathing room 😁👍🏻
Thanks
@@TruckMaster I have a gallon leftover I’ll send it over to you if you’d like 🤙🏻
@@TruckMaster be careful to not make the deck slippery when wet, that's what she said, I know many people who buy the heavy trailer made for duals, but run 17.5" tires from low deck semi trailers
Don't use any kind of fluid on the wood. Use linseed oil or tongue oil a boat sealer. Diesel will start splitting where the soft and hard meet in the end. But was used to treat cedar shingles and terminate and wood worms but the deck is P.T.-pressure treated. Treat top and botton. Othe sealers are pricey but diesel cheaper than other sealers. Add a little motor oil to the diesel if you decide to go that route though.
Truck Master I got a 25+5 20211 14k trailer and love it. Never regret getting it. Loaded over 14k of round bales on it and pulled it with my lb7 with light mods. And pulled it with no problem on step grades. I only payed 9g about 2 years ago on it and it paid itself off already. I used waterproof decking on the deck to prevent rotting.
Diamond C trailer fmax 207
Thanks for the info
Congratulations to the winner Dale.
Congratulations Dale and Mr. and Mrs. truck Masters I think you made a good move
Very nice trailer and truck collection.... Can't wait to meet you one day .... Hopefully at a truck show this summer !!!
Thanks Terry
Your minivan is one reliable van when maintained. I have done video for one this vans and one person got over 500k miles on the van without engine repairs. But maintenance was the key.
That’s crazy miles
That winner needs the old school wheels for what he does
I highly recommend adding a trailer plug inside your bed. Mine was $50 and it plugs into your wiring harness and will save your tailgate and if you leave a receiver in the back with a ball on it, it will save unplugging your trailer while driving.
Nice trailer Josh! The loadtrail was a good choice!
I like your new trailer I normally say go big I bought a 8 wheel gooseneck trailer in 2021 new Suretrac mine is only 25ft long but that was only thing I could find at the time mostly because of shortage on parts to build new trailers and the economy in 2021
All the hard work, DAV raffle and veteran history! Great story…but I wish your winner showed some excitement.
Being a red seal Carpenter is recommended a treated deck stain and of course a generous layer of sealant (I prefer a clear acrylic for weather resistance), if u use an oil I will be slick af every time it rains, etc. If u spend this much on a trailer then I would only put the best product on it.
Congrats on the gooseneck that’s awesome man.
Thanks!
Awesome trailer get it
Congratulations Dale
Congratulations to Dale. Man every time my phone rang I was hoping it was Michigan! Lol
I’m sorry but I appreciate the support 🇺🇸
Put bed liner paint on the trailer bed
The green Thompson water seal will seal the wood great and last 5 years
Diesel and oil works very well with the wood deck
Congratulations!
Is it just me or did the salesman sound like Mr. Haney from Green acres?
A down fall to the diesel oil on the trailer deck is when you lay on the deck to hook a strap and chain you get really dirty then you will have to get inside your truck like that if your in the side of the road. We did it to the farm trailer and we regretted it when using the trailer for anything other then the farm.
Congratulations on your new trailer. Yeah it stinks that costs and all are what they are. But you did well and have a great trailer. That will provide for you in many ways and for many years. Just to note a 4wd SxS and trailer...not as fancy as Rustbelt's... cost the same ! Thing is you will accomplish more with the trailer lol. Good things come to good people and you and Mrs Truckmaster are good people. Again it's very cool to have a great friend like Mark to call on for advice and guidance. As for the minivan I had to laugh. I gave my daughter and son in law grief about getting one vice a SUV... and it was exactly as you said. The kids , the dog the groceries... EVERYTHING fits in it.. easily lol. Josh I have told you before. I believe you have many opportunities ahead of you. Stay humble and true to yourself and your family and your faith. 😎👍
Good job TruckMaster! Glad you’re still making great videos. Sorry that I didn’t enter the drawing on the Dodge (not a big fan of the third party raffle company) I will definitely keep watching, stay well, stay safe!
Thanks 🙏
Great work mate, well done
well done Truck Master Josh!
Very nice trailer man love it!
I was really hoping to win 'my truck', but it sounds like it went to a good guy, who can really make use of it...he and I are about the same age it sounded like.... been retired now 11 years. Love the New Trailer, makes me wish I had never sold mine, only got $2,500 for it six years ago. :(
When you say “ load trail isnt that bad “ i think to myself , “ i will never own anything other than a load trail. I LOVE LOAD TRAIL. Quality built trailers for sure.
Thanks for the assurance 👍
@@TruckMaster no problem buddy , i own a 22 foot load trail equipment trailer with wide ramps , not like yours but the regular ones except extra wide and man do i love those things. On other brands ive bent the ramps with my skid steer when loading. These are as heavy duty as they come. But anyway love the content keep it up , hope you do another giveaway… maybe that big red one … haha
My boss has a big Tex I think it’s a 45 ft dual wheels. It’s 6 years old and the wood is still holding up well to driving 15k skid loader on, unloading hedge post, and it’s been backed into a few times to, and it’s still jsut fine
I love the new gooseneck trailer, I honestly was really sad when mom had to sell her 95 suburban 4 years ago and everything else 😢. the transmission went out and everything else 😢 if had to get fixed it was bout 23k and everything 😢 it had 264k and everything.
😢
Before the market rise we bought a 35foot+5foot dove tail+ 5 foot headache rack 8 tire trailer and obs Ford F-250 as a package for 8 k
Congratulations to the winner and the money going to a great cause 👏
👍👍
Nice trailer brother 👍👍
Thanks!
Lmfaoooooooo “it’s not only my fault we have 4 kids” “hehe… true”
Congratulations
Beck’s on 127 , go by there a few times a week heading to Mt Pleasant in the big truck to pick up one of my stops 🚛
Congratulations on the new trailer
Thanks
Use oil and diesel mixed 50/50. I used new oil because it gives a nicer look to the deck. Used oil will make it look dirty but some people like that look.
Congratulations!!!!
Thanks Matt
Awesome, to bad he kept the chrome wheels, I'm not a chrome person myself, I would have taken the old style bullet hole wheels and given the chrome wheels back to you. Oh by the way, the trailer is pretty darn cool
It’s all good
Congratulations to the winner.
Contact on your new trailer it will come in handy your build mr truck Master and more truck or toys for big boys keep up the great work u definitely my favorite RUclipsr i been watching your channel for a while now
Thanks Brendon
@@TruckMaster u are so welcome mr truck Master that goose neck trailer will last you for a long time i hope u enjoy it 😀 u really are my favorite RUclipsr
Need to get the air lift suspension kit for that Denali lol, but that rig is sweet 😎🤙👍👍
keep the great work hope you have a great day
Thanks! 👍
Nice my boy
Congrats man you will like the gooseneck much better ...once you go gooseneck you don't go back..lol..lol
I totally agree
I can tell you from experience do not do not used engine oil on wood deck yes it helps preserve it, but wet or frosty good luck hang on it’s a fun ride sliding around deck .
You better bring both sets with you bro and sweet talk him on those mickey Tompkins lol
2k roll on raptor liner for the deck. Fluid film it in the winter for the chassis.
Josh, I am new to the channel and want to take this opportunity to thank you for your content and all the hard work you post, but most of all for your generosity not only for what you share with us all but the amazing gesture to "giveaway" the truck for a great cause. I forgot to enter the drawing and missed my chance to give. (I have veterans friends and family who gave their time and life to this beautiful country of ours) but I am sure there will be another chance. Keep up the amazing work and remember this, "What you give the lord will give back to you 1000 times over". P.S In 2008, I purchased a brand new Duramax dually 3500hd. It was my dream truck and wanted to keep that "puppy" forever. However, a year later I had to trade it in for a Gasoline Yukon since I have Triplets girls and a son so I couldn't sit 4 kids in the back. So when I hear your story about the Tahoe it hits home. I'm not giving up on my dream of getting my Duramax back and who knows maybe sooner than later I bumped into a good one (keeping my fingers crossed on this crazy market) and will reach out to you for some advice. Thanks again and God bless you and your family soldier!!!!
Gustavo from breaking bad?!!😱😱😱
Great video budd
Pretty nice trailer
i have a 20 ft, land trail love it pull with my dodge van, put 3 gal of 3 m weather seal top two coats bottom will spray 3ed under trail with a hand sprayer ....
Nice trailer.
the market is not "overinflated right now" ... it's going to get worse. this is the new normal. and now is probably the time to buy as in 2 years you will be paying another 50% on top. that's what money printer does to you.
Id sit trucks back a little farther on there. Keep the rear tire above the rear tire on the trailer or just behind it. You got almost all your weight in front of the axles like that and the truck is doing a lot more work then it should and definitely will make it drive worse.
👍👍
Dale got him a sweet old Dodge, hope he doesn’t plow any with it.
Personally I liked the old school wheels,
& didn’t think I’d like the chrome 22s,
But after looking at both in a few pics,
The 22s really dress the Dodge up & seem to accent the beautiful paint job better than the bullet hole rims did.
So I believe Dale made the right decision there,
Nice that you offered the winner an option.
good ol becks
Breaks my heart that I wasn’t the winner but congratulations to him.
Sounds like Dale's is gonna have a happy grandson....
It is nice to own a trailer new 👍👍👍👍👍💯
I couldn’t agree more John
