a lot of people struggle with vocal because they try to sing to a track that isn't is a key that compliments their vocal range. one thing i like doing is throwing varispeed w/ tempo on the whole project to find the key works best for my voice. also fun to hear your voice sped up or slowed down when you bring the project back to the original speed.

i've tinkered with voices when coming with ideas more, and while i'm frankly a pretty shit producer, i'm proud of where i am for starting not too long ago. i've recently fallen into using vocals differently for ideas, like utilizing vocal synths, stuff like vocaloid or synthv is fun to work with if you're not confident in your own singing like i am. i've also worked a little with the text to speech SAM to add a little flair, a crunchy robotic voice like that can really work for some songs.
genuinely think your falsetto was really good - better than the other voice. it's flawed for sure, but it has more personal character to it - i think the flaws *might* be what makes it sound good? idk, i like it a lot :3

I got into vocals a few days ago, my mic sucks and I'm not too confident in my voice or lyrics.
I find that mixing it with Gross Beat 1/4 Beat feature allows me to stay on beat with the song even if I am completely off, gives it a cool feeling.
Been adding vocal elements to my tracks for a long time though, mashing up my voice and just letting Gross Beat do the work most of the time though.
