I had such a hard time teaching 4th grade writing last year (my first year teaching 4th, moved up from kinder). I wasn't good at writing in elementary myself and college lol. How do you prep? If I tried to write on the spot with them to model, my writing was terrible.
I def use my cirriculum to guide me. Looking at what the concept or goal is for the day and using the resources! That day was writing an introduction and we read mentor texts that week to help us write intros too!
