- When Justin got locked off the train to Shanghai without his wallet and luggage we had to think fast to find a solution. Thankfully the amazing train attendants were incredibly helpful and we were able to navigate getting him to Shanghai even though no one spoke English.

Hahaha, they are actually not fighting. This is how we talking and behaving when we are trying to solve some problems. Trust me, they were in a good problem-solving mood. LOL
That's why they can travel together for a decade, these guys can get along well.
No, they actually fighting. Trust me. At least the man
The station manager was arguing with the stewardess. As a manager of the station, he can't let you wait on the platform by the rule, and as train stewardess, she hopes the manager would consider more on your situation and problems.....
you cant wait on the platform for safety reasons. There are express high speed trains that go through the station without stopping. even with reduced speed its still going at 200 KM per hour. all the adjacent platforms are always cleared by security, no one else are allowed there.
So cute, Nice people.
But she should not have been waiting there, she should wait at the exit right...
@@sydneydorono9177 The steward thinks she has too much to carry.
@@sydneydorono9177 They have to consider that, this lady maybe couldn't understand Chinese broadcast, then how could she find her friend's train. So, finally, they put her just at the exit door exactly where her friend's train will stop.
PS: There usually are over ten train lines and dozens of exits.
Damn, I love her personality so much.
me tooooooooooooo
marrige matriel huh?
Yea she keeps staying positive in spite so many bad things that happens to her. That is a good trait to have!
damn, she is always complaining...
Please be noted that, in China, when you take the high-speed train, you can use the same train ticket to get on the next one (although no seats guaranteed). Its totally fine to just hop on the next train without changing the ticket or purchasing another one.
Thank god, a good option.
That is not true, it could be misleading
Ran Lin stop lies Taiwannese, you are everywhere
First you drone. Then your lens. Then you lost your friend. Then your jacket! Your stories are the best! So addictive. I’m just going from video to video. This is the best ice storm stay inside the house show to watch. Forget Netflix. I’ve been binge watching Claire Trips😆
I have the same experience with you. I took a high-speed train from Shenzhen to Fuzhou. I stopped the car and smoked a cigarette. When I came back, the door closed and the train opened. At that time, the luggage was still in the car, there was a "baggage" with 100,000 yuan in cash and laptops and tablets! Fortunately, the station staff informed the flight attendant to help me keep my luggage. I bought more tickets and nothing was lost.
Okay... I don’t get the ‘train opened’ and ‘bought more tickets’ part...
sorry, can’t understand your story.
@@nehcooahnait7827 . I think what he meant by "train opened" was that the train started to move away And he brought more ticket means he purchased a boarding pass for the next train...to ride on the next available train to his destination.
Definitely translate by some apps or this is just a Chinglish...I think "the train opened" actually means the train has started moving, because in Chinese we use "open" sometime to describe the status when a bus, train, vehicle starts moving
Mofeii. Its not car its train
why u just have only 1320 subscribers,u deserve more
because CIA is watching it :)
CNN: fake vlog!!
so Justin missed the train... and now you DIDN'T bring your jackets with you.. man you two have so much travel drama LOL.
It’s...a problem but at least we are able to laugh about it haha
@@ClaireTrips That's why I love to see your videos. Your positive personality also make me feel positive.
ClaireTrips do u get ur coat back finally?
@@ClaireTrips You are an optimistic person, I wish you happiness. We are happy to see you happy.
Looking at your happy facial expression, I can't help but feel that you actually engineered to make Justin being left behind alone in the train station....
haha Angry man just cannot let you stay beside the rail, aka on the platform, so the hostess was asking where you should be waiting, so they are not fighting lol. Chinese are always excited, we can put it that way.
Also I love your vlogs! funny contents soothing editing. I have been watching the whole evening already!
Shanghainese and Suzhou people speak louder than other provinces, looks like argument 😂
i love this !!! reminds me of the time our connecting flight was delayed one night for a few hours at Miami Airport and we were having a little nap on the terminal floor and the cleaning crew came in with their vacuum cleaners. The guy was vacuuming right by my face and i could hear the beater bar spinning. Later that evening a pilot tried to steal our cart. He was dumping our bags off and i had to grab the cart and say: "Hey thats our cart bro" and he stomped off in a hurry. Traveling!!!
7:42 “omg there is a television in the shower!”
😂 I bring my iPad into the bathroom sometimes and It! Is! Connected! To! The’ WiFi!
on the floor of toilet stalls ( I don't think you can adjust the channel there though ) ...ruclips.net/video/D1gNPAtiWpE/видео.html (Daxing Airport ).
with the drone, the lens, train and your jacket, this is gotta be one of the most adventurous travel vlogs i've seen lol. But hey without these kind of things, travelling won't be as fun...
From your lost your equipment to your lost your boy friend, your trip videos are so hilarious that I almost laughed my head off!!! It's all your fault!!!
Station manager: THE TRAIN IS NOT HERE YET! THERE'S NOBODY ON THE PLATFORM!
Stewardess: Then where do you want her to wait?
Station manager: I'LL JUST TAKE HER UPSTAIRS!!! EASY PEASY!
You think Chinese people always sound angry? WELL, YOU'RE DAMN RIGHT WE DO!!! : )
Angry man's job security was on the line too
I like your personality so much! Like always, awesome video! It can always make me smile. Thanks a lot. You deserve more subscribers!
You are a movie star, everywhere you go people want to take picture with you. I hope Justin is not jealous. lol
When I moved to Shanghai for college, I always saw ladies working in a grocery store arguing seemingly pissed, until later I found out that's just the way they talk haha
This is so fun to watch. Love your enthusiasm!
you really like laughing, even you cry after lost your drone seems laughing, lol
Love the videos. I got to say, in one hand I am slightly jealous of foreigners in China, when I traveled to China with my western friends, we got hooked up! When I go back with my wife, no one would look at us twice. I think although big cities like Beijing, Shanghai, and etc are seeing more and more tourist, still a lot of Chinese haven't seen a foreigner. So they want to leave a good impression. On the other hand, I'd imagine going to China is like when I traveled to the northern European countries. The language made no sense to me at all. This fear or being lost of stuck is real. Anyway, love the videos, you are such a happy traveler.
I and my wife, all ready 6times backpacking in china, still we cannot cover all china ,,
Better to backpack in china than in India,,
India have many touts and scammer,, can ruin your day
Really? People told China has lot of scammers too. Even Beijing has lots of scammer only in Shanghai its not a problem.
dzhang25642000 I haven’t encountered any, maybe I am lucky:)
The truth is, English isn’t generalized there, thus less/ no scammer for foreigners as in India
China is much better than India. (Sorry for saying it). But China is clean,
I'm from Shanghai so I can recognise the accent. I think what that dude was saying you are asking her to wait on the platform?! There's nobody around in here! Why does it have to be so hard?! I can just take her upstairs!! (Later he was pointing at that location) Stay right here don't move 🤣
LOL thanks for the translation! I've been dying to know what all the trouble was for.
@@ClaireTrips just my guess: the train attendant wanted you to stay on the platform to wait for Justin but that security dude went mad because it's dangerous to leave someone on the platform alone unattended

ClaireTrips one of the train regulation, loitering around platform is prohibited. It’s for the passenger safety and also for the train commuter safety.
From this video, we can see, by pure chances there might be similar cases at least once.. per day, it may happen to anyone. The train operator can think ahead to construct a 5x5meter waiting room for their passenger who gone through similar experience. That will be very considerate, but I doubt the operator will saw my comment LOL
基本这么个意思,不过争吵点应该不光不是这个,保安说“那你把她带上去”,看视频最终还是保安带上去了哈
Fortunately, the train was going from Suzhou to Shanghai. If it's a Long-distance train, things get worse. But this is travel, there will always be some surprises. On a previous trip to Switzerland, I missed my stop because the train door wouldn't open.😂😂
OleDex 😂😂Incredible
哈哈哈哈哈哈,你笑的太没心没肺了,能把我笑死。
The delivery service in China is extremely cost efficiency.
Have a good time~You are so beautiful.
You are an optimistic person, I wish you happiness. We are happy to see you happy.

I think you remained fairly calm throughout the separation.
You are so funny and positive, having fun from your videos! thank you!
I know it's too soon to ask, but will you travel to China again? Your videos are so fun to watch!
When I discussed issues with my Chinese friends, my German friends also felt that we were arguing, but they were n’t, but we were more expressive, hahaha
In China, if you are buying online from "Jin dong (JD)", they could get your stuff out to your hand in 8 hours... If you mailing something from somewhere to somewhere, it may take 1 day (over night)
Like I am living in Canada, they could take a whole week to prepare my order before shipping, and take 3 days for delivery...we are not living in the same world...
Never mind, Suzhou is not far from Shanghai, just 1 hour's ride by car or 30 min's by express train.
OMMMMMG
HAHAHAH I used to lost my bag of laptop on train to shanghai, they mailed to my friend in China eventually, lucky thats therminal station
Haha, in fact, the reason why they quarrel is not that they are unwilling to help you, but how to help you.
trust me , that dude isn't angry, that is way they speak, you will find the people from north China would speak softly
oh boy was I cracking up the whole video ahahaha
amazing trip and experience. every tourist in China you seen might kind of a little rude, but I am quite sure they are kindly to help others in their mind. They have different political and culture system. and so many people sharing one resource, so they need more aggressive to get their resource!
Your voice is so sweet.
lol the angry man actually said, " there is no one around, you can't have her standing here by herself." Is that a safety issue?
yeah.. definitely not safe to stand around high speed train track, they don't always stop, and you don't want to stand anywhere close to the track when a 300km/hr train is going through the station.
OMG your vlog is so funny. Love your personality!
omg, lol, istart to enjoy the crazy american traveling in china show, subscribed!!!!!
I don't understand. How do you not carry your wallet on your person, in your pocket, with your passport in a foreign country? I don't even carry a purse when I'm traveling, I make sure and wear clothes that have pockets so I can have my ID and passport and wallet on me. By the way, you are a very talented photographer. I enjoyed perusing your portfolio.
actually, you just need to ask the people of the last hotel and mail them to you in one day!
Your left drop lost (insert any item including human) are more exciting than the trips hahahaha keep safe guys!
so exciting experience!!!!!
You can call your last hotel, and let them send your coats by ShunFeng Express, and the express have a one today arrival or a second day arrival service.
Yup, they did that for me and it was incredibly helpful!
lol sth similar happened to me and i almost missed both trains to and fro in one day
Great personality.
The ticket can be rescheduled to next train if it was within 2 hours.
Hahah, curious about what happened to jackets later.😆
why did I keep laughing with you when Justin was left behind ? er... i'm so evil. really wanna hear the journey on Justin's end. and would like to know the ending of your raincoat.
8:10 legendary
I'm another Justin from China, and I have same insane experience of missing the train.
poor justin, better keep wallet on his person next time.
“can you speak Chinese?” she sounds perfect English
only English she can say, Chinese always have an acceptable pronouncation...
@@shawncheung1746 *pronunciation is probably what you wanna say I guess

I presume you would update whether they ship the jackets back to you in the next video.
H. Ytterium Rh they mailed them to me and they arrived just in time!
@@ClaireTrips Wow that was really cool! Nice people there!
H. Ytterium Rh Everyone was incredibly patient and helpful, we were very grateful!
@@ClaireTrips How excatly did you guys settle the Justin-left-behind problem? I mean, is it true that Google translate can overcome (almost) all the language hinders in China?
@@h.ytteriumrh974 Actually lots of young people (under 30 or 35) in China can speak English, especially in big cities. Maybe they don't speak very well, but they can understand most of it. So if you do need some help when you traveling in China, try to ask young people around you.
I have stayed in Italy in a four-star hotel and a three-star hotel in Paris, the small like a small hotel in the Chinese countryside, very bad

It's hilarious😂 Had your energy ever ever run out…no…just run low before?
Seems you've forgotten the DJI and its buddy lens. 😁
there is a Shanghainess phrase that describe you two in the hotel "the village farmers arrived in Shanghai for the first time"
ya, everything looks so impressive to them. Indeed, it is just a norm in Shanghai.
haha
I know this hotel in Shanghai!
By the look of the train station, you were at Suzhou weren't you, weren't you!! Ha!
Oh well 2 secs in and there it is lol
There were not fighting, eather not mad each other. There were debating where you could stay for waiting for Justin. In spoken Chinese, when you debating with others. You must use your body language and expression, specially middle-age people
What's the name of the hotel and how much?
Which hotel had the hot tub? Love to check it out
So much fun hahaha
That is why I just got on the train at any carriage and walked through the train.
Yes China was amazing and the people are amazing. Sorry but the Huashan plank walk is the only video I have uploaded
It is The Yangtze Boutique Shanghai~~~
