You can actually hear the piano's true tone without the pedals being utilized. I mostly play jazz and I use the pedals very little which I see as a benefit.
Hello rudolfpianos. This piano was in our workshop to get a respray and freshen up. We retired it after 10 years of event rentals, so aside from the fresh finish, it's original. As an event rental, we used it to advertise because it is such a remarkable instrument.
Exactly...and not only. Playing Mozart without pedal L. demonstrates that She knows only articulation, and no real legato. Listen to Min 2:07 and around for example.
I must point out that not only is she performing masterfully without the pedals, she is also seated on a chair with wheels! Two of a pianists most comforting objects are the pedals and the bench!

... please use your eyes as well as your ears. This was Val's first opportunity to play on a Grotrian. The piano is in a workshop, only partially assembled. She's sitting on a short rolling stool that bounces, not a bench. She's genuinely having fun. I hope you can have some fun today, too.
Val you have to make room in your house for this Grand.🌞A very complete Instrument for good rehurseling i think,it reminds me on the C.Bechstein which i do like so much.🌞🌹🌹👍
Always a pleasure to listen to Valentina Lisitsa‘s performances.
Lisitsa forever😊
Bravo Valentina!! La France 🇨🇵 adore la Russie
First of all, France hates Russia, and so are all the Europeans. Also she's from Ukraine/USA, and has nothing to do with Russia
Please do more “no pedal” challenges. This was fantastic!
She is the best! ❤
I love my Grotrian 208! Although she definitely makes it sound better.
The cadence @5:55 was beautiful.
Brilliant Valentina. What a doll!! How does she do that? I can't keep my foot off the pedal! I am so sloppy. This is so amazing!
Valentina l'hai ammazzato Mozart!!!!!
😂😂😂
No Jorge Mario Bergoglio chalenge: Accepted!, dear Mons. Strickland.
What a magnificent look...! Ah, that' s true, Music is a matter of Spirit, not of taste.
Great ‼️🤩🔝💪❤️❤️❤️👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
If I could play like that I would.

Hello! Pianoworks, did you restore this piano?

I think the Mozart sounds better without pedal anyway. It’s really a test of articulation. Valentina has phenomenal articulation and control without
This is no challenge. Play rach or chopin with no pedal and let’s see how that sounds.
Chopin without pedal is a crime

What happened to that piano’s pedals???
The piano was in our workshop for finish repairs, so the pedals were disassembled in a box at the time of this impromptu video.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@PianoWorksAtlantaI figured you were working on it. Valentina is a champ to play like that without at least the right pedal!

Sembra il pulcino pio..Se hai voglia dimostrare il tuo virtuosismo e la tua grande agilità fallo senza disturbare il grande Wolfgang
Be funny if the phone rings
Yes but Mozart doesn't require the pedal much anyway. Try playing Chopin without it!
Моцарт тоже был русским 😂
Шучу, если чё 😅
It's all except Beethoven

Wow very ‘presto’ 😅
Mozart
What pice?

Why, but why so fast??? Such a rushed and sloppy performance. No nuance and soulless. No pedal challenge is great though.
This isn't a concert performance, puritan, relax.

Does she know any Ukrainian tunes? 🇺🇦 🇺🇦 🇺🇦
Too bad there are no decent Ukrainian composers.
Ukrainian /Russian. Russian :Ukrainian. Same thing @@acuriousergeorge
No one wants to hear Ukrainian tunes, she’s playing Mozart.
@@acuriousergeorge Gliere was a pretty fine Ukrainian composer.
