@@deandenton you are welcome, I am also an actor and can see a good performance. People dont understand how much the director controls a film, by pushing the actors in a certain direction via multiple takes and you never know which take they will use. I did a small under 5 on Magic City, and its an added challenge to do a period piece role...in the 50's (magic city) or 30's (the highwayman) it makes your performance that much better, you seemed like a lawman from the 30's~
@@andycasting I hear you on that. The director told me before the film came out that some of my scenes were trimmed down for time. I was hoping for a few more close ups but that’s just part of it and I’m happy with what I did get. Hope you have a great rest of the year and a great next year with a lot of bookings!
@@deandenton same to you Dean. You were on screen with some real acting heavyweights and you held your own. not an easy task in itself. I have done Improv onstage with Keegan-Michael Key and held my own...Did a movie with Eva Longoria (as a detective) and held my own with her too. sometimes all you need is a chance!
The bucket at the start looks metal. You can see the bottom of it at the :06 mark. We had some similar in the barn for carrying sawdust to the stalls when I was a kid.
It's pressed tin, the 2 corrugations at the top to add strength. Where the handle swivels on the bucket also says it's tin, the bosses are spot welded. They still make them in 2023. The plastic bucket handles clip in a lip from below.
For a movie trying to be more realistic than that actual original film , this movie has way too much made up bullshit in it😂 for example Clyde never bribed no police off !!!!! They didn't even steal large amounts of money from banks , they were just poor small timers , the most they ever stole from a single bank heist was about 2,300$ & they literally all had to all split it up 5-6 ways together as a gang plus they were always on the run constantly , they never laid low in once place for more than a few days at most & even that was rarely too!!!!! Most of the time they had to literally sleep in cars or in the woods at campsites that they handmade themselves!!!!! I read the novel "Public Enemies" & its the most accurate knowledge on all of this information about all the legendary 1930's era ban robber gangs!!!!! This is just a movie!!!!! The original 1967 film had its flaws that were different than this but it was also way more realistic overall even though they romanticized Bonnie & Clyde more than they should have in the original film but regardless that film is still more authentic & also a timeless masterpiece that single handedly created the R Rating in Cinema & the first to show actual graphic violence, this film is just.... "Good" at it's very best!!!!! The types of guns & gun sound effects is about the only more accurate thing about this film verses the original film😂
Thanks for your comment. I loved the 67 film and worked with Gene Hackman and the director Arthur Penn on the movie Target. Loved working with them. I agree with a lot of what you are saying. Just wished they would not have killed anyone. 13 is a lot of people that didn’t have to die. Even if it was just one that was one too many.
The only flawed scene in a fantastic movie!!!!! The police are collecting evidence in white plastic spackle buckets in 1934!!!!! Plastic buckets were designed 31 years later in 1965.
One of the most underrated movies ever, casting is excellent and the story builds through the whole thing. One of the best.
Masterpiece
Excellent
👏❤
great work dean....
Thanks so much!

I love this movie.
Except plastic pails weren’t invented until 1968. The one they’re using in this scene is from the late 90’s, at the earliest.
I saw that also
It’s called artistic latitude. Also known as, “we forgot to get a wood bucket, so use the plastic one and hope nobody notices!”
The bucket at the start looks metal. You can see the bottom of it at the :06 mark. We had some similar in the barn for carrying sawdust to the stalls when I was a kid.
They're also using plastic shotgun shells, They were made out of cardboard back then
ever seen a painted tin pail
Nice attempt but too many inaccuracies
The white plastic bucket.......definite anachronism for 1934
I think it's metal
0:07 you can see the corrugation on the bottom of the bucket. Painted metal, not plastic
It’s metal.
obviously metal
It's pressed tin, the 2 corrugations at the top to add strength. Where the handle swivels on the bucket also says it's tin, the bosses are spot welded. They still make them in 2023. The plastic bucket handles clip in a lip from below.

You do understand this is a movie right?
Great movie
The only flawed scene in a fantastic movie!!!!!
The police are collecting evidence in white plastic spackle buckets in 1934!!!!!

It’s a metal bucket like you buy grease in.
