A magic vid. A Re 4/4 turn into a 1116, the seasons fly by, Ho, Ho.. The Re 4/4 that is parked at the beginning and the first Re 4/4 passenger train both had old type pantograph. Are they a series of Re420 running as built, Re430, or Re421 but not Cargo livery? The TM was doing well with the French empty tanks.
Thanks! The Re 420s with the old pantographs belong to the first series. The front isn't angled as much, making them shorter and they only have the one pantograph. The numbers are 11107 - 11155. The first one you see was a swiss express machine, apparent due to the SBB signet, extended UIC plug and longer buffers, which used to accomodate an automatic coupler between them. Some first series locomotives were refitted with the newer pantograph. There is one first series Re 430, with the number 11350. The rest feature the same body shape with 2 pantographs.
In the 44:03 minute of the video there is a cut in the recording in front of the stop of a red light signal. The sky is almost completely clear. When the video resumes in the 44:11 minute the sky continues to appear clear, but nevertheless a certain amount of snow appears between the rails of the train tracks, although it is not possible that it could have snowed. What time interval has elapsed during that cut? A few hours, a full day? It is the strangest thing I've seen.
