Good test! Next time check clamp hysteresis (zero shift) also. Measure current like +5A or more. Then measure low current at two directions (+, -). Then measure high current again at opposite direction (-5A). And then measure low current as both directions second time.
Clamp ammeter gives a quick measurement without having to interrupt the cable. Connecting an ammeter in series measures more accurately, but the internal resistance causes a voltage drop, which can reduce the current through the consumer. Often an approximate measurement is sufficient. What I would like would be that the 2.000 volt range is extended to 6.000 V. The IC can measures it, but the firmware prevents it. The temperature measurement is a joke. A cheap thermometer can do better. Instead, you could have made a DC Volt direct current switch stage. Well, in ampere rage you can set between AC and DC.
Used once last year when I bought it. It is not reading DC amps . I would say as an engineer that needs it to work the meter is absolutely crap because it's been kept absolutely dry in my boiler house where it is dry and a stable 70F.

opo, napataas po kasi ang current na inapply ko, most of the time 10amps lng po ang probe ng multitester at di dapat ibabad. d tulad ng tinetest natin jan na clamp meter na may capacity na 100amps at pwedeng babaran

@@kotobukichannel4367 pwede po kayong mag experiment for your own experience, mag-series po kayo ng dalawang resistor na same wattage, one has a higher resistance and the other one with a low resistance then supplyan nyo po, observe nyo kung alin ang iinit ng mas mabilis.
