It is commonly sold as street food in South China and Southeast Asian countries , notably Philippines, Cambodia and Vietnam..
Balut term comes from the Filipino language.
Rich in protein, vitamins and minerals eaten with condiments of salt and vinegar.
Most Filipinos consider it as superfood that is good for the brain.
