It would be good if the waveforms on the oscilloscope were shown with and without load, as well as the shape when the output is turned off and on. Regardless, it's always interesting to watch the presentation of new devices.
Hi, when it comes out a new firmware I will do an upgrade video and will complement with some suggestion given by the viewers. Thanks for watching and for your comment, really appreciate.
Not a Buck and Boost converter then, just a Buck as it doesn’t let you adjust the voltage higher than your input voltage , Not like the Miniware unit they took a lot of inspiration from which let you do that
Hi, I tested a few miniware products sent by them, but didn't have yet the opportunity to test their system. They create really awesome devices and for sure this is not even close for what I understood from the features of the miniware solution. I think the get the inspiration there but can't launch a product to the market with that price tag, is not their strategy. So this is a compromise between the DP100 from alienware and this device. Thanks for watching and your comment.
Hi there, already answered someone about this and yes, I did forgot to due the noise analysis, that one is on me, focus so much and try to have a video shorter, it always come out so big and the features that forgot that basic thing, will keep this in mind for next videos. Regarding ad review, don't think that is correct or fair, but life isn't fair, so I understand your criticism... will focus on doing a better review next time, thanks for watching and your comment.
HI, it was answered above, but you can power the DPS-150 with DC connector. I had one that used to power with my Rigol power supply. Thanks for watching.
Hi, if you go back and watch my review of the DC6006 (i think) I made a similar comment about the power supply that needs a power supply... 😁 now I know that there is some utility for these devices, imagine you're a hobbyist and don't want to spend to much money in this, you can have a programmable/PC connected power supply powered with a 100W charger for a very competitive price. This allows you to test boards that allow only 3.3V up to 30V. It is true that you can buy desktop power supplies from 45€+ but don't have the features this one has. It is another option that you can have, it doesn't mean it will fit in everybody needs. Thanks for watching and your comment.
That was a poor review. It was supplied with a 100W adaptor for a 150W supply! You essentially faked the review by using your own DC supply. Buyers are probably going to use the supplied adaptor and that's how you should have tested it. Fake review.
Hi, I respect your opinion but don't agree. They sell the power supply without the charger, so what should I do if they didn't send me one? No test? I tested with my power supply because allowed me to see the voltage drop on 30V 3A that obviously the PD charger will not be able to supply. But even in disagree with your opinion, I really appreciate the time spent watching it and specially the time you take to leave here your comment. We don't have always to agree with everything and everyone and the fact you mentioned is really appreciated. Chears!
@@TechCornerTV OK I'm confused. In your review you say "also delivered with 100W charger" and show us the charger. So it seems reasonable to think that the charger is supplied with the supply. So does it come with that charger or not? And even if it doesn't come with that charger you don't point out that a 100W charger obviously is not appropriate for a 150W supply. That's why I think it's a poor review. Admittedly I am biased against Fnirsi, remember their 100MHz scope that was actually a 30MHz scope?
@@CAsCurryKitchen They have two SKUs: 1 bundled with a 100w USB C power adapter and one without any adapter. I got sent the one without the adapter for review. No biggie as I already have 140w USB C single port chargers and plenty of DC supplies that can go over 150w. The bundled set is $30 more than just getting the DPS-150 by itself.
If only they could ship and track their products properly. I would love to use mine, but they never sent it and said it was "lost in customs", lol. Sure, you ship products all day but tell me its lost when the tracking states it never reached customs. If you want one of these get it from some random Ali seller, FN can't seem to deliver, literally.
Hi, so sad to hear that... I think that depends a bit also of the postal services in your country or it could be a bad seller also, there's a lot of them in AliExpress. A piece of free advice, always pay your purchases with Paypal, will cost you nothing more and will give you a extra layer of protection if a AliExpress case fails. Thanks for watching and your comment.
@@TechCornerTV I ordered it from FNIRSI through and I did use PayPal. I asked for an update on my order then a refund and they never responded. I have the PayPal dispute going now so I'm not worried about the money, just concerned with the support from this company.
Id like to see a later variant having auto power detection.

Olá! Fantástico... obrigado pelo suporte e por assistires.
How power adapter 100w and psu 150w have you check with load tester for 150w
he added a dc power source to dsp150 conector

So the power supply needs a power supply ?! Meh …. Also not a 150W power supply included ?! Just 100W ?!? What’s that for ?
