It's too bad they didn't use the silage as fertilizer and spread it in the field. What comes from the earth goes back to the earth, it should be all good.
that's one way of silo removal i've not seen on here before, i like the backwards buckets, that's thinking outside the box. interesting because we remove trees in a similar way, dig a hole on one side and get gravity working with you
The reverse bucket is common when your digging away from the machine. This is how the majority of silos are taken down. Used to be done by hand. Knock it over and bury it.

Very slim chance of trapping your bucket, set up with your drives behind you, keep your feet on the pedals, back right out before anything happens. The idea is sound, as is the application.
Looks like they are going to bury them, won't the decomposing silage be a long term problem? Ground settling and gas from silage?

Great method for bringing it down! As close as you can come to 0% chance of falling in a wrong direction. And, uhhh...music is kind of annoying.

Could of done it the Fred dibnah way and removed a wedge of it and use fire to bring it down
