Thanks again. I was wondering - do you have any Arcade? I know that was very short-lived, I was just curious as the few episodes I saw on here and Vimeo fascinated me.
Thanks for this….this was one of about 250 episodes never shown in the Yorkshire area of the UK…how many episodes have you left to upload? Many Thanks!
Looks like NWS9 Adelaide. I don’t know if all the cities were in sync with repeat runs, but the 1981 episodes were repeated in 1990 in Sydney, so maybe this is nearer to 1989?
Thanks Dan. This is an early 1981 episode so if they started a repeat run around 1984, they would have reached 1981 in 87 or 88. Not sure when the repeat run started - and possibly before it was repeated in Sydney.
@@CaptainSiCo Saw that synopsis which made me think it might have been 878. This must have been one of if not the first to use these opening titles as 872 had the set with Forrest coming out of the ambulance.
@@CaptainSiCo The new music and operating theatre titles came in the 400s - at the earliest 421 and at the latest 462 (I've seen the opening titles of 420 from Thames airing on 2/11/87 and they had the original music) and the closing titles with the medicine bottle and scrolling credits which didn't last long I believe. It probably was every 150-200 or so episodes and probably not the first episode of a new season. The 1978 finale and 1979 premiere (469 and 470) had the same titles as did 529.
I came for the ads and stayed for the acting :-)
thank you
This took me down a rabbit hole of awesomeness. Thanks.
Glad you liked it @RustyKeys72!

Hi @kengeorgejones6855, Sorry I do not have any videos of Arcade wish I did have some!!!
@@steverutherford7171 Thanks for replying. Many don't.
The pilot episode of Arcade is on RUclips.
Excellent find. Any more treasures like this on this VHS tape?
Hi MrSimplesimon1987, I have more Young Doctors to upload!
RIP Alfred Sandor (1918-1983).

Hi @jonathonmedcalf2145, Glad you like it! I have a few more clips of The Young Doctors to upload!
Broadcast in 1987 by the looks.
Ch 9 did start replaying the show at 5pm weekdays round that time before moving it to 10am so you're probably right.

@@CaptainSiCo That I.D was only used up until early 1988 so realistically 1987.

Is this episode 878?
Yes, confirmed by the synopsis: “Robert Shaw comes to a dramatic decision about his future. Jody Carter discovers she has a secret admirer.”

873 was the start of the 1981 season - perhaps the titles changed then? Though from what I recall they tended to update them and quite random times.

I think the new music and credits sequence debuted quite early in the 400s - if not 421 it wouldn’t be long after that.
