As a flight simulator manufacturer's representative it warms my heart to see how well your simulator time has helped you with your training. You're very smooth on the controls and obviously much more comfortable flying the R44 after such a long break. Very nicely done! We actually make a full motion R44 Sim.
Glad to see you follow your own advice about make them tell you no. I was hoping you hadn't given up on helicopter flying you seem good at it and you seem to enjoy it. Probably more so now that the helicopter isn't a mess. Good to see Lester is up and running too.
Having the right stuff to walk away from what you instinctly knew wasn't right, due more than likely to your training has probably saved someone else's life. Respect
BZ Major Lemoine! It does my old heart good to see you and Lester at it again. Coming from an old CH-46 and UH-1N maintainer from the Corps I would fly with you any time.
I know nothing about flying as a disabled country boy. So impressed with your attention to detail. Mine has saved me from near fatal ATV accident last fall. Attention to detail
Jeeeeeeeeej !!!!!! I am happy to see a new fly video :))))))) You should have Lester to come over and fly the stick with 3Dglasses on and make a video when he does :)
A month ago just bought an old UH-1J. It's needs SOME TLC before it can fly again. I have a crew of people who work with me on their own time on weekends. I got my dream car and now one of my dream aircraft. It will take some time but it will be brought back to flying condition. I got it cheap because I work in aerospace under a partnership between Bell and Subaru and pulled some strings between the JASDF and my boss.
Just a tid bit for people who don't know or not from here, at 15:10 you can see the parking lot of the old amusement park, and theres something on it. That's remnants of the main drag of the park in Jurassic World.
I got my fixed wing license, and now starting my PPL journey into flying rotary as well. About 7 hours in so just finished circuits. Also in a R44 although the 2 seater Cadet version (a carbi based one).
_HELLCATS!_ Great to see you back in the air with Lester! Maybe you should send that GoPro to Linus Tech Tips, so he can build a water cooling for it. I mean, he water cooled chairs and a TI graphing calculator already... :D
we want more :D, so nice to have you back in the saddle with a good working r44. also Lester if you read this man you sure know how to teach flying. 3 months no flying still kicking ass.
Glad to see you back in the helicopter!!! Ive always dreamed of flying, especially in a helicopter, but it costs wayyyy too much for me! So I’m forced to live vicariously through you!!
I think I could tell what Lester was saying w/o the audio. LOL 8) I really enjoy this and learn a lot! I've never been in one, and never considered it till this series! Thanks much! (I think) LOL 8) --gary
Although i'm more of a jet fighter lover, i like all aircraft and it's great to see you back on the helos. Seems like your an Airwolf fan but i'll say it again, you should do a "Mover ruins movies" episode about the Blue Thunder movie from 1983. It's on Netflix so it's easy to get access to the full movie. Best wishes from Portugal
Good to see you up in the air again. Did you know about the f-16's civilian operated aggreser aircraft that are coming to Mesa gateway airport. Some investers bought some f 16's from Israel and are going to fly them as agresers against the air force and other military units.
Putting the camera in the wind screen during summer is a recipe for overheating it, the r22 probably let it by because of the lack off doors creating airflow, probably should plug comms into another unit to avoid that problem
Biggest thing I noticed with this one Mover compared to your previous few heli vids.. you didn't seem on edge, with a couple of them you've seemed really on edge like you didn't feel safe (Which you said you didn't) this one.. you actually looked a hella load more relaxed.
"Where's the string?" "You're in trim..." Something IPs don't get to state very often.. To the DCS Huey; that wobble drives me crazy, too. It ain't you. Sometimes stepping away for a couple months is helpful. Seems you came back to it having internalized some key skillsets. Things'll just percolate in your CPU while you're "on break", and you'll find on improvement once you return to it.
Back in the 90’s , I had an opportunity to fly an old OH 6 with an instructor / test pilot. I would be on final and he would grab the cyclic and force it left or right so I could learn how to recover. Scary times!
I flew over 6 flags about 2 years ago with my paramotor. Much lower altitude than you guys though. Then went and buzzed the ponds across the road. Friend of mine used to live in one of those subdivisions in that area.
DCS doesn't wabble in a stable hover for me BTW but did when I had a controller with a lot of the noise. If you get the higher end thrustmasters they tend to have low noise.
Nothing better than real flying

Love the "knockoff" airwolf theme music!
And the protagonists, too :-)
Twineman kestrel
In the business it's call sound alike.
Where did you find the theme for that?
That sound-alike immediately took me right back to teenage years. :)
the "Reminiscent of a well known tune, yet completely original themesong" is pretty cool :)
It’s a classic now
I hear airwolf!
Great to see you resume your heli training Mover and to see Lester again.
Great👍🏼 i missed the Rotor Stuff.. Well done Mover, looking forward to your first Solo..Greetings to Lester, too..
Technically it would be my second first solo, since I soloed the R-22. 👍
Having the right stuff to walk away from what you instinctly knew wasn't right, due more than likely to your training has probably saved someone else's life. Respect
The Mover and Lester show is back! Again!!
You should absolutely put Lester in the hot seat with DCS+AR! 😎
So glad you're back flying again. You didn't skip a beat. You're a natural. Lester is looking well. All is good.👍😉💜
Great to see you an Lester back in the heli! Looking foward to the next episode!
If you're not having fun, you're doing it wrong.
Good job man! Keep your head and you'll rock this last little bit of training.
BZ Major Lemoine! It does my old heart good to see you and Lester at it again. Coming from an old CH-46 and UH-1N maintainer from the Corps I would fly with you any time.
Great to see Lester again!
Great to see your rotary wing training continue!
Really love you getting into rotor. Old hawk driver here, and glad you are loving it.
We love all you fly boys. You guys help us more then you know.
Your CFI Lester is impressed. So let me know what secret training you been doing? Ha. Good stuff.
Lester should do audio books over his helmet mic. Very relaxing.
I know nothing about flying as a disabled country boy. So impressed with your attention to detail. Mine has saved me from near fatal ATV accident last fall. Attention to detail

Yep, Six Flags. It looks cleaner now.
I got my fixed wing license, and now starting my PPL journey into flying rotary as well. About 7 hours in so just finished circuits. Also in a R44 although the 2 seater Cadet version (a carbi based one).
Nice surprise this morning. Great to see you back on track, and Lester looking good. Good job!

Great seeing Lester again.
I have missed these!!! So glad you’re back in the R44. 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Haha, when CW mentions DCS the instructor politely acknowledged it, but you can tell it's hard to convey to someone just how good DCS in VR is
These are my favorite type of vids you do. Love the helicopter stuff.
i didn't knew this helicopter has piston engine powering it. Really enjoyed watching the vid.
I could watch this all day. 👍
Always enjoy your helo vlogs with you and lester...👍🤙

Wow! What a VLOG! Loved every minute of it. Mover, you are doing so well and it is so great to see. :)
I think I could tell what Lester was saying w/o the audio. LOL 8) I really enjoy this and learn a lot! I've never been in one, and never considered it till this series! Thanks much! (I think) LOL 8) --gary

Enjoyed this very much. Great flying. Excellent videography.
Nice to see how much smoother it is for you when the hardware is working right.

Thank God these are back! How can I get current vicariously through you if you keep taking time off!
Glad this is back.

Good to see you back in the bubble again😉
Good stuff Mover - actual flying!
Good to see you back on the horse again! ;)
I get strong Hawke and Santini vibes from this :D
Putting the camera in the wind screen during summer is a recipe for overheating it, the r22 probably let it by because of the lack off doors creating airflow, probably should plug comms into another unit to avoid that problem
Nice to see you back in the air Mover!!

Yay!! were back, and i want to know more about that T-38 engine out
tks Mover, from Brasil!
Back in the 90’s , I had an opportunity to fly an old OH 6 with an instructor / test pilot. I would be on final and he would grab the cyclic and force it left or right so I could learn how to recover. Scary times!
Seems the rocking flight movement in the sim is pretty much what is happening here
Such a great looking Helicopter in my opinion
I flew over 6 flags about 2 years ago with my paramotor. Much lower altitude than you guys though. Then went and buzzed the ponds across the road. Friend of mine used to live in one of those subdivisions in that area.
Damn I wish I had the Durango hellcat. I only have the R/T. So nice. With the gas prices. It's starting to suck. great flight like always.
I was hooked at the Great Value brand "Airwolf" theme...
Yay, second comment.
Glad to see it again.
Yay, Mover! Welcome back!
Way to go mover, back in the air.....:)
