@@TokidokiTraveller they popped up on twitter a year after they quit, bascially saying they were happy with their life and getting on fine. From what I remember thety quit so they could have kids and a private life. I remember watching them too, and hope they are well :)
Yes, I definitely remember Grace and Ryosuke! Texan in Tokyo is still my favourite RUclips channel of all time. I miss them, but at least we can still go rewatch their old videos. I'm just happy I found them before they quit, so I managed to buy all her comic books just in time.
I had literally just watched Texan in Tokyo yesterday because I was feeling nostalgic. They’re one of the first channels I watched before becoming interested in Japan after having an exchange student. And now I’m moving there next year ✨
@@TokidokiTraveller I think her comment was better anyway. 😉 She had the opportunity but she was focused on the *important* part. (Srsly I will have to get some bread there on my next trip. Mmm.)
I am so inspired by how you are so productive after you ate dinner/watched a show! Whenever I relax in the evening I can never make myself do anything afterwards 😅 I love your videos, they are so fun and relaxing to watch 🌸
Hi Emma! I do remember Texan in Tokyo, I still watch them all the time and am so happy to see you making this recipe of theirs! Good luck with wisdom teeth surgery and I hope you are staying safe!
Omg I haven't been to Tokyo for 10 years but as a vegan I struggled so much, its so good to know there's actual vegan restaurants now for when I go back!
I think of Texan in Tokyo every once in awhile and hope they are doing well. He had made an easy noodle dish that I make frequently, I just omit the spicy stuff.
My husband and I plan on trying to move to Tokyo after covid. I just hope my favorite jvloggers like you don't leave Japan when we can finally move there 😭 I as well watched Texan in Tokyo and they are such a sweet couple.
I love Japanese bakeries. In hiroshima there is an excellent 100yen bakery which sells lots stunning breads - i still dream of their vegetable topped flatbread and the staff were so lovely. If ever you are there, you should go. Its in the main arcade with Mr Donut and then you go through one of the side roads as if you are going to the departmental store (if that makes sense). I miss it so much!
I always enjoy your cooking videos! All the bread items at that bakery looked amazing. I try to avoid bread, because I love it so much but it just makes me want more and more!! Plus it makes my joints hurt. (I'm over 50). In America, we make stuffed green peppers with a meat and rice mixture topped with a tomato sauce. I can do without the rice. But historically people used the rice to make the meat stretch further to feed lots of people. Stay well and be safe!
moar moar moar days out in tokyo please! (within safety limits) i miss tokyo so much, so watching tokyo vlogs and just simple days out is the next best thing! thanks Emma! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
This was such a nice video, thank you ☺️ really helped me to chill before work (nights stacking at the supermarket) the stuffer piman looked so good too :)
Awww I love Ryosuke and Grace so much. 😭 Hope they are doing well. Still cannot watch their Videos again. That "Bing!" All the best for your surgery!💐🌈✨🧃🩹
Thank You again Emma for posting such calming videos honestly. I am having a hard time with mental health at the moment, I have run out of my antidepressant medication and can't get into my doctors until Monday, I have been without for a week or so and the withdrawals are making me feel all kinds of terrible. Your videos were such a calming distraction.
That’s such a difficult and scary position to be in ahh I’m glad you’re almost at Monday! Sorry you’re going through that, and amazing job at getting through the week ok ❤️
Omfg Texan in Tokyo 🥺😭😭😭😭 I miss them a LOT! They were (and still kinda are) my favourite Japan RUclipsrs ❤️ but I totally understand and support their decision 🐣
If you are ever near Nihonbashi, more specifically Nihonbashihamacho, in Tokyo, you should give "Bakery Tanne" a visit. They offer german-style bread, other baked goods and cakes. I had been working there during my Working Holiday 4 years ago. The staff are lovely people, and the bread is delicious :)
I love MUNA. Been a fan since I stumbled on one of their songs in an indie pop playlist back in 2016. I've never come across another person whose heard of them until now. Awesome!! :)
I just watched an episode of Season 2 of Midnight Diner: Tokyo Stories and they were eating that Kitsune Udon! I didnt know they had an instant one ... will be checking here in Toronto for that now. Stay safe, heal quickly!!!!
I miss Texan in Tokyo a lot. I hope they're doing well. I also hope your wisdom tooth recovery goes well again. I just got mine out 2 weeks ago and I lived off of ice cream, scrambled cheese eggs, and what I dubbed as fatty mash (mashed potatoes made in chicken broth and a bunch of butter...I didn't care I deserved it)
O, that bread bakery (is that the right word?) looks great! Petty something like that is not in Holland. Thanks for the recipy, i'll be trying it out. Great video
Just in time for my binging spree! Those shorts do look so roomy and comfy 💕 Will be catching up with your quarantine routine vids next to know what it was like on your side. The cooking segment was relaxing. I enjoyed how close to the ingredients you place the viewer, much easier to see and experience along side you. With this and the typhoon brownie I can see why others mention your love of cooking. I've been curious to try a facemask too, they always look so silly 🤣 Best of wishes with your wisdom tooth & future vids Emma!
I miss Texan in Tokyo! The ピーマン looks good. I do the same but I like to put some (diced?)carrots and potatoes with the meat so i cook them separately then stock it in the pepper and bake with some cheese on top
I usually combine cooked rice and cooked meat for a stuff pepper then roast it in the oven with goat cheese on the top. I’ll have to try this recipe later! Thanks. :D
That food you cooked, my family makes a similar thing but with bittermelon instead of bell pepper. Bittermelon is nasty as is, but there's a way to get most of the bitterness out and it basically tastes like papaya.
The bread looked amazing as did the stuffed peppers! Good luck on the second wisdom tooth removal! Love your content. 😁 I always enjoy watching you cook!
Aww I loved Texan in Tokyo! I’ve wondered from time to time how they were doing after they left RUclips. The peppers look delicious.
I hope they’re doing well! I think about them from time to time too, I used to watch them so much 😊
Same here. I miss cooking with Ryo and Grace's cartoons too. I hope they're both safe and happy wherever they are and whatever they're doing.

Your positivity and general outlook are so refreshing. Always love seeing others participate in gratitude and not giving into cynicism and rudeness.
