If you know that you can rely on your team and the other way around. Thats when you really shine. It is a team game after all. You cant solo carry anymore like back in the days.
@@dallaswinston330 He was sarcastic about saying it had great value, and i countered his sarcasm saying it really was decent value. It seems you're the one who doesn't understand.
He's the best player in the world imo. I remember when he started streaming and all the English speaking viewers in his chat were just in complete awe. He knew where little slivers of doorway were. He'd time his Zen charged attack so that it hit those slivers of doorways, at head level, the second someone was running through from spawn. Then he'd do it again. He was one-shot spawn camping people from halfway across the map without them ever seeing him.
Yeah but the mvp trophy goes to the person at the grand finals who carried the team essentially and well jjonak didn’t do that much at grand finals. There was no huge plays or massive rolls. He was just a regular support. That’s why when he received the trophy even he looked confused because he knew he hadn’t done anything crazy those games
Chris Flores That’s why there’s a finals MVP for the best player in the grand final. Then there’s a seasonal MVP for the regular season and that’s what Jjonak won
that trans to take the rein pin is one of the most legendary clips of JJonak. Up there with Ryujehong ridiculous reaction speed to break a junk tire with only ana abilities. Whenever i see that clip i'm reminded of Seagull's gengi dashing into a tire, killing it and then saying NO FEAR!!!
Thank you for including fails, it shows that the pros make mistakes as well. He even contributes to the team, and is very thoughtful towards his teammates. Can't forget his pog aim and gamesense, lastly the 5head plays.
now that there is overwatch world cup viewer feature, go have a look at jjonak and other player's view from their perspectives. it is just simply amazing. you can see their out of this world skills
Everyone praises his mechanical skill but holy smokes that pin save for ana was one of the smartest, slickest moves I have ever seen in my life. Such a situational thing and he doesn't even blink. Knows exactly what to do all the time.
What I find most impressive about JJonak is his inventive use of cover to create threat. For example the clip vs fuel on Oasis he's in an aggro position and instead of simply going straight for kills he takes cover. Doing so he constricts the space the Junkrat is taking and forces Fuel to decide whether or not to go after him. He trusts his team to push point if Fuel decides to chase which is why he took that position. He's inventive, but the vast majority of his play is actually reactive to the way the game is playing, its so brilliant. Honestly the way JJonak plays should be used as a lesson to anyone playing DPS or flanky heroes, his entire play is based around playing safe and using cover up until the moment of attack, at which point he goes from 0-100 instantly. That's how he's so devastating
When the right click was still valuable. Blizz in 2018: let's make zens right click as slow as left click Blizz in 2019: lets make mccrees left click as fast as his right click
4:42, So all you need to take out Jjonak is just an anti-nade, grav, earthshatter, sleep, Rein pin and a riptire. Why didn't anyone else think of that before?
Everyone needs to see how he plays Widow or Genji... He's excelent, yet he keeps on playing his Zenyatta. So people must learn that being a god support comes from being a very good dps first. Just like ML7. If you pretend you're a good dps, then your real carry goes as a support imo :)
well the skill is almost entirely transferrable. if youre good at one, youll be good at others as long as you practice enough which barely takes a few hours (to learn a single character)depending on the character
in addition to all these great things, he's also protected by a great team that understands his importance and protects him pretty well
If you know that you can rely on your team and the other way around. Thats when you really shine. It is a team game after all. You cant solo carry anymore like back in the days.
That’s how competitive should be played, pub games are a joke
True, but when his team isn't playing well he still is insane.
@@Sephiroth32vergil He is insane alright but twilight and viol2t are on another level on they zenyatta. Jjonaks ana is still on twilights level
Protect him from what? Someone out there wanting to punch him in the face?
As genji he was anti-naded, graved, shattered, slept, rein charged and then ulted by junkrat
@FullTimeSlacker the kill wasted two of the enemies ults though
Honestly, the fact his team kept him up through most of that is impressive.
Name it would appear some people still don’t understand sarc

I love the clip at 2:45 I mean how much confidence do you need to push 3 enemies by yourself as a support? Insane player, much respect.
Well, the 400hp and healing sure helped him
what do you mean as a support i dont see support player there
He also had Brig armor and Mercy pocket
Some of the commentators really undersell some of these huge plays, insane aim + awareness

What I find most impressive about JJonak is his inventive use of cover to create threat. Well zen is considered dps kinda like brig. But I wouldn't suggest because only a true healer knows how to heal.
