- In her first interview since Ghislaine Maxwell was denied bail, alleged Jeffrey Epstein victim Virginia Roberts Giuffre spoke with Gayle King, claiming that Maxwell could have video tapes of "very well-known" government officials, politicians, and even royals who would be unhappy "if she squeals." Giuffre called Epstein a "sick pedophile," but said it's Maxwell who "was the mastermind."

However, trafficking usually entails the victims being kept contained in some way, and Virginia Roberts was never kept in this way. She was free to come and go. Just because she regrets it now doesn't mean she was innocent. She wasn't. She's trying to say she was 'abused' because she knows that's the only accusation she can make that might pass muster. She can't claim rape, because she was willing. The only thing she can claim is abuse, because she was 'only 17' and presumably, too young to make her own decisions.

I'm no expert, I don't claim to be one, but over the course of all the interviews Virginia Roberts has given, the topic she mentions the least is the vast empire of wealth that was evidently at Epstein's disposal. Is that not strange? Plenty of media airtime and yet barely a single comment about how wealthy Epstein and his circle of 'friends' were. Either, I would suggest she thought at the time she was profiting off his assets, by helping recruit some of the victims herself. And now that she has all the information and bigger picture of what was going on, she looks back and has a very different view, or at the very least she wants LEAST of all to talk about the subject of 'money'. She will talk passionately about everything else. But never dwell on the payment that may have been received (at the time).
It doesn't take away though from the horrible abuse that was received before recruitment 'payments' would have been received though. That is just about unspeakable.
