Stiffen your front shock in your skid, loosen the back one and loosen your limiter strap

Somehow I missed that it was running a 583 (redhead) and not a 670 (purple head) until you mentioned it. Great video, old sleds can be a ton of fun. Get a 670 HO, or a 670 with twin pipes.
The old sled won't strand you on the woods because, it knows, it pretty sure knows its his end, nobody is gonna rescue him, so he behave good to not be left alone to die

I still say sleds from the mid 90's to early 2,000's were some of the best sleds ever made! Had a 95 ZR580 and 01 ZR600 from those years and both had the absolute piss run out of them for thousands of miles. Honestly don't know wich one I liked better.
Gave the 600 to my brother and he hauled it off to Florida and built a trike out of it with 4 wheeler tires. Damn thing ripped even in the Florida heat with only a motorcycle radiator fitted too it.
The older sleds are pretty fun to beat one when you don’t care if they break or not hahaha
That thing must’ve ripped for sure, makes me laugh when people convert a sled into a quad lol

Yeah dude, both times I’ve had no spark my mpem was fried. But could be your stator, voltage regulator or coils
You wouldn't have a spare mpem hanging around by any chance
I still have a 99' Summit X 670 that I use as a loaner sled for my son's buddy's. Still runs great. However, there's no comparison to the new sled. The older one's simply will NOT keep up in the powder.
Yeah the older sleds struggle in the deep stuff for sure hahah
