Janis sure can belt it out. Gorgeous woman as well. Been a fan since the very first LP Jukin' when it was a somewhat different group with Tim being the founder of that ManTran and the second one with Laurel, to the one we all know and love today with Cheryl. Remarkable vocal group. And Tim was truly a visionary in being the driving force of the group. To Tim I would say thanks for keeping the ManTran on the rails all these years and creating some of the very best music has had to offer for over forty years.
So do I. I never watched it on TV, but I remember when it would come on the radio. It was autumn of 1975, and I was 12 and in 7th grade. Back then, almost any current hit, i enjoyed. Not so with today's whatever-it's -called. Posting 3-10-24.
@@TheBrooklynbodine I’ve gotten to see them in concert 4 times now! (RIP Tim Hauser). The last time was 2017, and I had them autograph one of my concert t’s from 1985!

This tv show of theirs in 1975 hooked me right away - and now it's nearly 50 years later????? It's all still fresh, cool, the best.
This, along with Ray's Rock House....timeless classics and PLAY IT LOUD worthy !!!
I remember watching this show, summer replacement as they called it back then, became a lifelong MT fan from that point forward. Fantastic group!
Love this in 2020 during the Quarantine 🇺🇸👊🏼

Awesome
Amazing how spirit can move through supposed secular groups sometimes even more than religious for profit groups.
I watched this “religiously” way back then...yeh, I’m old.
I never watched the show, but the song I'll love to death till MY death! I'm 58 myself. Posting December 11, 2021.

@@mlabuda61 Congratulations! You're truly fortunate.
This was a summer replacement show. It was great.
Oh sh!t I was alive in 1975, I don't remember this show because I would have watched it.
It was one of 2 summer replacement shows for Cher.
I saw them all.. it was on for 4 weeks, August 10 - August 31, 1975. This is the final song from the August 31 episode.

Often wonder who the dancer in the yellow dress is. She was putting everything she had into it.
The background dancers were unnecessary as they are so distracting. to one of the greatest songs ever.
Disco era...TOTALLY necessary.

@@gingerbread1231 : I was thinking the same thing - this awesome group didn’t need all that going on.
I like the dancers.
That's what I was thinking.
Keep your day job ok
