His been out almost the whole season, his a great player but his Parra teammates don't let him shine. Sucks his got a bicep tear and will be out for the rest of the season, right at the end of the game too.
The best thing about Mitchy's performance in game 2 & 3 he came into the team as chief playmaker, the hardest position on the field esp at origin level & he didn't look out of place. Being that he had no Parra teammates around him at all, sliding in with blokes he's never played alongside before, especially the NSW spine, he just looked at ease & that he'd been playing alongside the rest of the NSW team for years. 6 & 7 as we know are so important & i think Cleary does make Luai look good, next year with Luai heading to the Tiges we'll see, but i think Luai & Mitchy's combo was great, the one didn't try to take over or overshadow the other & i think the mutual respect was shown. I'm not a fan of Luai at all but credit where credit is due, he allowed Mitchy to organise the boys & he was able to do what he does best, run the ball & annoy the shit outta the opposition being in their face constantly, while Mitch gets on with the job.
Agree with everything you say but Cleary doesn't make Luai good. That narrative has gotta stop Luai has a winning record on the Panthers WITHOUT Cleary and the past 2-3 years has shown that when Clearys injured. Just look at other halves without their main guy. Eels Dylan Brown without Mitch Moses: fighting against the Tigers for the wooden spoon. Broncos Ezra Ma'am without Adam Reynolds: on a 6 game losing streak sitting 13th. Panthers Luai without Cleary? Currently sitting in 2nd place on the ladder. People have to give Luai his credit
Not being biased here: Nathan Cleary might have won 3 series for NSW (‘18, ‘19 & ‘21) but hasn’t won an Origin decider. It was Mitch Pearce that played halfback for nsw in the ‘19 decider. Mitch Moses winning an Origin decider is more meaningful.
It wasn’t Moses that saved NSW, it was the forward pack that laid the foundation that gave Luai and Moses the room to set up their plays. Get the facts straight clown!

Honestly happy for him, he doesn’t have to play with shit players, and he can get some extra rest for next year. Shame next year won’t see much difference, but hopefully we can start integrating a new forward pack with a majority of players with big contracts ending next year (ie Lane, Paulo and Matterson) who have just declined since 2022.
Not saying Angus didn't deserve TWLM but Moses didn't get the kudos he deserved Kicking game along with Laui was what gave nsw field position and possession in the red zone
Do you dimwits not realise it is 50% forward work and 50% back work? You can't base a WM medal on which position is more important to winning lol you gotta look at individual performances on their own merit
One thing is essential about State of Origin - you need grit and determination that far exceeds club level. Cleary has the comfort of playing under his dad, and he knows his future is secure there. For Moses, there's no such comfort and everything he's earned has been through pure grit and determination. He's got that edge that makes him an Origin player. I'll take a healthy Moses over Cleary for as long as he plays. And I'm no Parra fan.
I thought Luai played better with Moses in this series the with Nathan over the last few years. Or it could be that Fitler didn’t know how to use them like Cleary senior could. Though I love what Moses did in this series. I say Moses 7 and Luai 6 going forward for NSW.
In the state of origin I saw that game he wasn’t the only player on the field I know his good but what make a good player is the player around him how co e the parramatta is running last where is his magic against he is opposition?
