Hi there! I have made VAT-number and SSN as required fields in the customer form. How do I make them visible on the customer back-end as own fields? They are placed as comments on the customer atm. I have just coded the .registration
depends on how you want your business flow for customer service. basic management of vieweing and managing orders, customers and products is in shopify backend. for more detailed live chat, tickets, returns, etc, you will need to find apps. zendesk is one good app for this but will need more about your business and flow to better recommend.
the quickest way is to go to shopify backend -> customer -> and click on export ALL. open csv in excel and filter out all of the non addresses and then check the number of rows
Hi! The customer wants us to delete all her info on Shopify but How come I'm not getting the "Erase personal data" option on the customer's page? Is it because only Admin of the Shopify account can do it? Thanks!
@@Astralwebincloves Thanks for your response. No, I cannot delete a customer, I was just able to disable the customer's account but the customer wanted the "Erase personal data" option I've seen in your video but I can't see that section on the customer's account.
@@kestreldelacruz3588 This is for GDPR requirements mainly in Europe stores. This "erase" button will send a notification to all apps you installed on your store to delete "personal" information and after 10 days it will execute. see more at help.shopify.com/en/manual/your-account/privacy/GDPR/processing-gdpr-data-requests#process-erasure-requests

is there a way to filter email addresses by the location? for example, I want to remove all customers with emails that end in .co.uk as we don't ship outside of north america.
it is better you set your shipping methods and rates to only accept for specific countries as you dont know if an email address is connected to a location. for example - .com doesnt mean its for a specific country as well as .co.uk addresses could be people that move from uk to usa.

how did you make them required? extension/custom code? that will determine how you add to customer backend.

I don't get the Customer Privacy section on the right side of the customer's account. Nothing shows after Tags on that side.
