You are right, it burns bright so it drains pretty fast, but I am getting about 25 minutes of full continuous use. Be sure to charge it at least 25 hours. I think the instructions say to not go over 30 hours, but double check that.
I use mine to see if my driveway gets blocked by the snowplow in the mornings and to shine raccoons on the roof. The battery doesn't last more than a few minutes.
@@RJtoon1 I picked up a battery at Batteries Plus and it's able to charge now. The housing is like a puzzle. If it had LEDs instead of the halogen bulb it would last longer on a charge.
What you didn't see from this video is that one battery lasts about 10 minutes. I bought 2 of them and both have that same problem.

If you charge it up to the full 30 hours they recommend not going over, you can go a little longer

@@williamroberts5716 yeah I had to throw mine out a few years ago. Most I ever got I think from the battery might've been 15 minutes or something.

will it work plugged in? or only off battery?
You can use it if it is plugged in but it is so powerful that it will still drain
