My first race (at knoxville) (dumb) Didn't even have a trailer... pushed it with a pickup 8 blocks.. Parked behind a huge rig with one pulling in behind.. Sammy walked by and said.."I think you forgot your trailer " I said.. didnt think we was racing those tonight.. he gave me a smile and said good enough...
Too Tall is one of those little guys that racing depends on car counts. This young man is such a hard worker. He is a good solid driver. Doing really well in the Silver Crown too. Very impressive in his 1st year. God bless this man for following his passion.
Sounds like what Sprintcar Racing in Australia used to be like for all competitors. I'm thinking of a time, up until the appearance on the Australian Sprintcar scene of the "Team/Car Owner" which for us is a VERY RECENT (post 2000) development. Years ago, the blokes who drove the Cars, owned the Car's.
Watch the daily post almost every day when I get home from work. Your first story on Trey Osborne compelled me to comment. Have been going to dirt tracks in Southeast Nebraska since 1969, Trey's story takes me back to a simpler time. Now, in my sixties and have the means to do so, I travel the country two to three times a year to watch Outlaws, High Limit, and Lucas Oil Late models. This story reminded me of those early times when money was tight and you scraped together enough to be entertained just because you enjoyed it so much. Thank you.
I love this driver feature. Maybe you could do that more often. It's great to see the determination and grit drivers have to make laps. Ohhh and, great show. As always
This young man has a desire and does it by himself. I admire this and he will hopefully get the attention of a larger team needing a solid driver. The History Mystery Man has also done a couple of RUclips shows featuring him. He turns the wrenches, drives the pick up truck, Amazing
Nice story on Trey. Well deserved. He came on my radar at last years Smackdown. This year, I stopped by a couple times at Smackdown and met him and Elaina. Great young people that love what they are doing and a pleasure to meet them and watch from afar. Thanks for noticing and reporting on a Great story IMO........
Excellent story!!!! Those are the ones who all support investing in their merch if they have it. The high $$$ ones should reflect where their roots were cutting their teeth, they were there themselves. I Always, always support the local weekenders every way possible
I joined a late model team decades ago it had issues with being able to afford all the equipment needed to be a top competitor. We bought used tires. We had one set of tires that were so good in qualifying that we definitely could qualify in the top 10 for the feature and that’s all we use them for a couple laps. Because we had a stellar reputation with respect to the honesty and character of all involved in this endeavor and race car, we picked up a fabulous sponsor and went from little to big in a short period of time. The new trailer had a car in the bottom and a car in the top and one in the shop and one ready to be built, spare engines and everything else you can imagine. Stay with it it’ll work out.
I think there is an impression from old timers that “kids” lack work ethic so it’s nice to hear about Trey. Also as a tall person I appreciate his willingness to adapt to a sport set up for jockeys.
Love Trey story, used to help my buddy in the pits literally go to Kasey Kahne‘s dad‘s house back in the 90s get their used tires and run them. Won couple of local shows along the way on those used tires.
Been there, dun that. Never bought a new Hoosier LM tire ( local track McCreary) for big shows, free wrecked wheels became beadlocks. You do anything to save a buck to race. Don't see the discards as much as you used to. Wish him luck!
It feels good to support our local tracks I try to as much as I can. Riverside is a gritty bunch where Sammy Swindell came from but I wouldn't trade em for the world!!! Good show always Justin!!
Saw too tall at the recently reopened Mountpeiler Speedway. Dude was committed to the top the whole race! Came from behind to challenge for the lead with a few laps left. Great Run! Hiw about the Mountpeiler Speedway being reopened by Modifed driver Ryan Sutter, Milkman Productions!
Nice story on how some teams survive to run shows. Don't worry about people complaining about grandview they don't stream anything. Keep up the good work
This was a great video! I agree with others- do this stuff more often. Highlight the drivers that are keeping the dream alive for all of us fans- working towards being able to race!
Hell, yeah!! Trey!!! I'm also 6'8". I don't know how you fit in your dodge 1500 let alone that sprint car. Keep up the fight, my dude!! With that passion you're bound to get some big dollar help along the way!!
I race 305 racesavor sprints in Ohio. I haven’t had to purchase a left rear or front tire since owning the car. I go to the big shows and will get left rears and get 2 to 4 nights on the good ones. I have also found rod ends that were on a slightly bent arm and used the ends. Every little bit that I can save helps me to be able to race more and I can buy other parts as needed.
Love the Show Justin. Love the for any young man put n the effort to survive n gride for the Love of thrill to stomp the pedal . No Hate comment tonight .Love of Sprint Car Fans .Racin Rick Happy Camper P.Ville.
I raced alot of years with an open trailer and used tires I picked up after an outlaw show. Now days the fans get the good tires before poor racers get a chance to get them.
I went looking for midget tires to use on my D2 midget after the four crown. Racing as a 1 man show is definitely hard work and keeps you on the move to just to spend a few minutes a week in the seat.
I run a kart track in north west Ohio and we have a race in February called the snowball 250 that Trey used to show up for every year. Seeing this 6’8” guy in a kart was pretty funny to watch but he was also competitive which is tough for a guy his size to do.
Trey Rocks!! Thank You for sharing his story, I much prefer hearing about real racers like him. Does he have a site where we can follow his race plans? I could follow this youngster..
Back in the 80's and 90s we used to get tires from track after Woo race's sometimes 30 - 40 tires a weekend. Funny thing is we had the money to buy new ones every race night . Had a guy who was truly low budget he raced with a Holly 4 barrel couldn't afford Sprint car injectors but he raced and had fun we would give him the used tires and he race hole year on them. That's know different from Paul Silva getting the titanium Wing brackets out of the garbage can the trash pile.
Hope I can be as cool as Trey some day. Started with a tuff truck a couple years ago. Hopefully in a few years I can get into 4 cyl or Enduros once I finish school.
Hunter bailed on a small family operation for a “big” ride. Hard to feel sorry for him, especially when gennetton took a few races in that ride and then dominated 😂. Clearly the car wasn’t the problem
I think an emphasis on open trailers should be further examined, when I raced sprints in the early 90”s and was in tow to the track, whenever we stopped for fuel or food, without exception people would come up to us and ask what it was on the back of the trailer. I took the time to engage and educate, many followed us to the tracks, it was great advertising for our sport..
ah mr too tall trey osborn, hes devoted, yes still very young but pretty good, I am sure he will make a go of it as he gets better with the hard work put in, but the life of a racer is a bit like a gypsy, its a life on the road grining night to night, 4 crows was pretty fun though it was hard to top last year with the tripple crown and finnal race points battle for the allstar circut of champions comming down to that final race with two of my favorite drivers, I thought we might see another tripple crown this year but just wasn't to be, and sevey didn't win any eaither but still podiumed more then once, the guy is consistante for sure.
This is why big payouts and big shows need to go back not just to the top 3 or 5. Getting guys like this some more cash to make the features is a must. If just want to watch the top 10 drivers and support them dirt racing will diminish.
I used to dog on the backmarkers when I was younger... I excelled at running my mouth... Eventually I grew up. I realized I don't have a dog in the hunt... and should really just STFU about ANYBODY that that straps in and pulls out of the track... in any car, on any track... I've never put my money where my mouth was. I'd never built (i did help build stock cars for a friend for 5 years much later on) or bought a race car, so I never even managed to accomplish what I have been calling bad race car drivers, had already accomplished... They do the best they can with what they have. Whether they are limited by money, knowledge, or skill... they're still out there doing their best, to fill out a field, and put on a show. Especially with sprint car racing... it would be pretty fucking boring to see 4-5 cars in an A main... since only a handful truly have a chance to win even remotely consistently... the real race doesn't start at the green flag, it starts when the leader enters lapped traffic... So mad respect to this kid... pulling off what this 57 year old keyboard warrior here never did manage. Kudos.
Trey has had a couple of stories from a history? bloke. Yes he is skinny but how does he fit in a Sprinter?? Let alone a midget. I am 6'1 and med/ large build and I simply do not fit. Tallboy chassis maybe but even then very squeezy. My 1968 Supermodified is a limo in comparison. Though has a halo because the cage is too short and has had for 50 years! So nothing is new.
Open trailer, a pickup truck, and resourceful, reminds me of the good old days of racing!
My first race (at knoxville) (dumb)
Didn't even have a trailer... pushed it with a pickup 8 blocks..

😜
There have to be some sponsors out there for Trey. Any kid that wants it that badly deserves some help.
Nice story on Trey.
Too Tall is one of those little guys that racing depends on car counts. This young man is such a hard worker. He is a good solid driver. Doing really well in the Silver Crown too. Very impressive in his 1st year. God bless this man for following his passion.
Great story on Trey. "I just love to race" pretty much says it all. Most people that haven't raced before just don't get that.
Thanks, Justin. Getting Treys name out in the world could make a huge difference for him ....I hope it does !!!
Great show today. Love the stories on "small drivers and teams" somehow racing every week. They are the heart and soul of sprint car racing.

One of my subscribers sent me here, thank you for the shoutout 🙂 Great video, keep doing what your doing!
Really enjoyed that story about Trey Osborne! True racer
We run an open hauler here in NorCal so glad to see the support for us not in the big time👍❤️

Been watching Trey for about a year now. Love his enthusiasm and his creativity. Good luck Trey, I go to races to see talent like yours 😊
I think there is an impression from old timers that “kids” lack work ethic so it’s nice to hear about Trey. Also as a tall person I appreciate his willingness to adapt to a sport set up for jockeys.
Hats off, good episode man. Love the part about trey. Gotta wonder how good he would be in good equipment
Going to see if Trey has merch. If he does, I am buying some!
Have a lot of respect for "Tall", he's digging and will find a way.
Love Trey story, used to help my buddy in the pits literally go to Kasey Kahne‘s dad‘s house back in the 90s get their used tires and run them. Won couple of local shows along the way on those used tires.
Great episode! This guy has that dawg in him.
Thanks for the shout out for Grandview Speedway.

Raced sprint cars for 4 years and have yet to buy a new tire. The new ones I have acquired were because other drivers didn’t like what they rolled out
Love the story on Trey.
It feels good to support our local tracks I try to as much as I can. Riverside is a gritty bunch where Sammy Swindell came from but I wouldn't trade em for the world!!! Good show always Justin!!

Please Kubota sponsor him
I dont remember the last time I bought a new tire. its nice having buddies to scavange from. I would be sidelined if brand new was my only option
Great story I been there as a struggling late model driver with no money
I raced alot of years with an open trailer and used tires I picked up after an outlaw show. Now days the fans get the good tires before poor racers get a chance to get them.

Would love to see an interview with Justin and Hunter % about Hunter's various rides this year and how it all worked.
@@ChrisS3c yeah and 100% has a great story on his love for restoring old cars and trucks

Really liked the profile on Osborne. Very cool. I like him even more now
Come to Pennsylvania and get a ride Trey.
Great show Justin
Good stuff!!!! Heard him say at Bentonhausen 100 he was gonna run wing!!!
Hope I can be as cool as Trey some day. Started with a tuff truck a couple years ago. Hopefully in a few years I can get into 4 cyl or Enduros once I finish school.
Justin = big NE mod guy. NE modtracker daily.
Hunter bailed on a small family operation for a “big” ride. Hard to feel sorry for him, especially when gennetton took a few races in that ride and then dominated 😂. Clearly the car wasn’t the problem
cool guy,iv been there, people always ask how i could race so often, i told them i ate the mac one day and the cheese the ne t day.
He’s raced at Indianapolis Speedrome on 1/5 mile
Great Story
Have you ever done a show on the origins of directional sticks in LM racing?
Sounds like Trey needs a more high profile ride. 🤔
Great profile!

Trey Osborne is now my favorite Sprint driver.
Deserves all the respect 🫡
Go go underdog. 👍.
You should see my hobby stock 😂 doing anything i can to get out there
That’s what I do run races then at the end of the night I go pick up tires and run them lm tires are expensive
This is why big payouts and big shows need to go back not just to the top 3 or 5. Getting guys like this some more cash to make the features is a must. If just want to watch the top 10 drivers and support them dirt racing will diminish.
I've seen Trey in the pits and would have gotten an autograph but working on his car.
Will “Hot Seat” Hunter find another ride before the end of the year? 🤔
I'm all for Trey now.
That’s a 3/4 ton but yea still a good story
Trey Osbourne is so much fun to watch
Does Trey sell shirts?

Maybe he’s the next “Super Trey Osborne”?
local Pa team. we ran scrubs all season. how bad you want it?
You didn’t mention the winner of the Iditarod in Alaska, I’m 😡
Go To Tall🏁🏁🤙🤙🤙
Trey has had a couple of stories from a history? bloke.
Yes he is skinny but how does he fit in a Sprinter?? Let alone a midget. I am 6'1 and med/ large build and I simply do not fit. Tallboy chassis maybe but even then very squeezy.
My 1968 Supermodified is a limo in comparison. Though has a halo because the cage is too short and has had for 50 years! So nothing is new.
Anybody got Treys Venmo?
Give a little time to the guys who race too not just the top 5 guys in every series in every episode. Always the same guys it gets repetitive
Ohio kid
