I don't care about the sprites, the effort is here. There are so much different sprites and cool events, it's really good. Ofc it's not perfect but doing this kind of work is crazy. Really well done. I hope my mod will also be peak once done

while this one may be the best recreation, i still think the high effort previous version is better, the quality of the sprites and just everything about it screamed AWESOME it feels . . . goofy, like someone said but ill be more clear. the animations don't scream quality, mainly all the normal sprites of boyfriend and xenophanes. im not sure if you want to try and make it better but ill gladly see any revision everyone comes up with. for me im sticking with the previous high effort which just was perfect in my opinion just missing some things.
i like how they had almost every Events Right. the slide during the take a rest section is very understandble and smooth for somereason bf dissapearing near the "what" line is just straiht up funny yet interesting expectation! don't care how the sprites look's THIS IS AWESOME!

@LEON WOLFREN That would be applicable if it was the version of EXE that Sega have canonically used, but it's not. It's a fan made character that the creator has asked not to be used anymore and sega has nothing to do with it.
