I use parchment paper as a palette all the time and then when I'm done I turn the remaining paint into mono prints and just keep spraying it down until the paint is pretty much gone. I've gotten a lot of really fun prints that way.
Ziplock bag, thin plastic cutting board, silicone mat; acetate, sheet plastic protectorate great too to be used as gel plate. Did you use the same dictionary pages yesterday? Because the porosity of the paper you print on can add the "slippery" effect to the print. I started to gel print like this inspired by a video from Lilian Guerrero. (ruclips.net/video/JuB6jlqm9Lo/видео.html). Even if I have now gel plates, I still use this kind of method from times to times or if I am too lazy to get a gel plate ready... or if I just want to finish up the left over paint. Merci 😀
Oh my gosh Loulou you are full of good suggestions! Thanks for sharing the ideas and video. I'm not sure if I was using the same paper but you might be on to something--definitely could've changed how the paint printed.
Very interesting
and cool! Thanks😃‼️🙋🏻♀️
Thanks Dagmar! I appreciate you watching and letting me know.
I really love the look on the wax paper!
I agree Maria--you just never know until you try.
Love using what I have around the house. Cool experiment!
I'm with you Jill--I definitely think its good to use what you have.
Thank you. I’m anxious to experiment. 💖💖💖
I hope you give it a try Deb. Thanks for watching!

And some times if the page I print on end up too wet I then use it to make another mirror print.
I love that Heather! I am so behind in trying things like this out.
Might it be texture from your table coming through?
Yes, the texture was from the table. I ordinarily like texture but for some reason I was hoping for a smoother result.
