Another thing that makes me love Victor's character more is his voice actor. Victor's character was different than most of the roles Junichi Suwabe played. This just proves how talented Suwabe-san is.
I realized the reason Yuri actually told Victor "Let's end this" because he felt Victor's yearn to go on ice again when Victor watches the other competitors skating, and by becoming his coach Yuri thinks its tying Victor down. Yuri wants to force Victor back on ice again and he didn't want to be a factor hindering Victor's passion for skating. Victor has been supporting him for so long and he decided to do the same for Victor.
