@@itay1232 They're actually really simple! Animated textures have the same width as regular textures, but have a height that is a multiple of the width. It's basically just a really tall image, with each square in the image representing a frame of the animation. You also need .mcmeta files for each animated textures, you can just look at some example ones to see how they're formatted

A resource pack can be any size, not just 16x16. Writing code to create blocks out of other blocks isn't too hard either.

@@itay1232 makes sense. Basically this was a 16 pixel by 16 pixel diamond block where each pixel was made of other 16 pixel by 16 pixel blocks … and the final block was using a 256x256 texture pack?
