These Optima ballasts seem very good to me, the bulb burns out completely and they continue to work without burning out, and this has probably happened several times
Do you work on them live? I notice there's a rubber mat and fibreglass shell on the cherry picker so nothing to ground yourself on. Do you power them off at the base, or not?
For lamp Replacements I mostly work on them with the power on (depending on the wattage of the lamp). I do take out the fuses whenever I do a ballast replacement most of the time.
Ik vind het ook altijd gek om te zien, maar dat is de manier waarop ze in Nijmegen verleddings projecten doen. In plaats van per wijk doen ze het daar per groep. Dus alle armaturen die op een kast geschakeld zijn worden vervangen. Bij de Diamantstraat (dat is kast RD) is nog alles onaangeroerd, terwijl er aan het einde van de straat (kast RE) alles in een keer led is.
Het gebeurd ook dat er een vervangings project gaande is er schijnbaar in één keer mee opgehouden word, voorbeeld is groep XD in Weezenhof daar zitten nog een aantal PKS 2x18 w armaturen terwijl zo goed als alle armaturen al in 2018! zijn vervangen door led...
@@NMGN75 Ken haast geen andere gemeente, die er zo een zooitje van de OVL maakt als Nijmegen. De diversiteit aan masten en armaturen in één straat zie je zelden ergens anders.

Aren't these reflectors fastened with rivots? Odd it came loose.
Now, the fixture is missing one reflector assembly... Is there no way to reattach it?
There is, but it'll most likely fall off again whenever there's a strong wind

Yep they're pretty good quality! I don't think I ever had to change one. It's mostly the capacitor that fails
This is actually right next to my school and I noticed that one of these Hogro fixtures has a loose bulb in the bowl haha!

Leuvensbroek, typisch terwijl een groot deel van de armaturen in de wijk vervangen is door LED, is deze hoek onaangeroerd gebleven.
