As you say, the Bible provides guidance for men to order their finances. Women's explicit instruction is to submit to what their husband decides. That is very clear in scripture.

After stepping away from the Word of Faith doctrines and teachings about money;I've come to believe The "BLESSING " IS THE PROMISE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT Eph.1:3
In which was given for us to be born again and sealed unto the day of redemption. That Christ Jesus made possible through his blood that by grace we are saved through faith!

First and foremost, let me thank you for your ministry and for your desire to help people find God and/or grow closer to Him. I have been listening to your podcasts for several months, and most of them I agree with. This one, in my opinion, you missed the mark a little bit on. Not so much with the tithing, your biblical reasoning is sound, but rather the joint checking accounts portion. I feel that you went from 'here's a biblical reason to tithing', to a 'here is what works best for us' without saying as much. My wife and I have separate accounts, and I can assure you, we are nothing like roommates. It works better for both of us, so together we made the decision to keep it that way. Yes, we do in fact discuss who will pickup what bill, and again, that works for us. By your logic of one flesh equaling a joint account, why should it stop there? Should we also share the same tooth brush? We are one flesh after all. I don't want to distract from the ministry that you guys have going, I appreciate it and commend you for opening yourselves to us all, but I felt compelled to comment.
May God continue to bless your family, your marriage and your endeavors.
    Your brother in Christ

    Does God demand tithes today?
--Moses commanded Israelites to pay tithes to priests, but in the New Testament, all God’s people are priests.
--The tithe was only a law for ancient Israel.
--No one in Bible times ever paid tithes in money. The tithe was only for those who owned livestock or farmland. It was for the priests to have food.
--There was no command to tithe from Adam to Moses-thousands of years.
--And there is no New Covenant command to tithe.
--Before Moses, tithing was only mentioned twice:
    1. Abraham gave a tithe once. He was not commanded.
    2. Jacob promised to give tithes. He was not commanded.
--In Acts 15, the Council decided which few OT laws the Gentile saints should observe so as not to offend the Jewish Christians. Even there, they said nothing about tithing.
Yes, Jesus said once that the Jewish leaders should tithe… BECAUSE THEY WERE UNDER THE LAW OF MOSES THEN.
But does God command generous giving today? YES. But that will look differently for different people.
