Great review, Chad. I definitely notice the work you put into your production quality. From the transitions, FX, and even the in-depth details you shared in your video. Congrats on receiving the ultimate drone RUclipsr award………. An E-bike Honor! LOL…. Kidding. Good stuff!
Hi, Chad. I have the first f Generation XP 1.0 Step Thru and I still LOVE it! Of course, I added several accessories to amp it up. My eBike got up to a scary 31 MPH, but I didn’t like the feeling of going so fast 💨 on a bike. 😂 Anyway, some of my neighbors and friends now ride the LECTRIC XP. Thank you for sharing your LECTRIC EBIKE journey. Donna 🚴
@@ChadB Good morning, Chad, . Somehow, I deleted my entire response to you! I was saying, Thank you for your reply, and thank you for such a detailed and honest honest. I really enjoyed seeing the people ride the ebike for the first time. Especially, the first guy who really got the "gas off his chest" as my mother would say when someone wants to do something really bad. He took it for a REAL test run and gave it all he had. I think he's goint to get himself a LECTRIC. Thanks again, Donna Coastal Georgia
WoW for someone who isn't an expert on e-bikes, ( you are an expert on this bike for sure )I learned more from you than someone who calls themselves an expert. Thank you for the awesome review.
I've watched a lot of ebike reviews. This one was so humble and laid back, and yet did provide information others did not, that I subscribed. P. S. Good choice on the music for the Buddy test
Great review! Thanks for allowing me to test it out. I definitely want to pick one up to ride to and from work during nice weather. My first time riding an e-bike, I was very impressed. Great job bro! 🤙🏾
I think drone enthusiasts are naturally inclined towards e-bikes. That’s how I stumbled upon your channel, researching e-bikes. My channel is primarily drone focused, but I’m looking to get into e-bikes myself. Your editing skills are dope by the way. The lower wheel shot shifting from scene to scene was 🔥.
Thanks. The editing is something I always try to improve. Also I agree... Many of the drone channels out there are starting to incorporate e-bikes into their content. By the way, I'm very familiar with your channel. Been a subscriber for a few years now.
I've had the 2.0 for two years and think it's great. The Lectric XP 3.0 is even better when you take into account the 4 major improvements...ie. more powerful motor (more torque), improved front suspension, new rear cassette/sprocket that eliminates most of the phantom pedalling in higher PAS levels and finally a rear rack that's welded to the frame that increases the maximum rearrack payload to 150 lbs (allowing a passenger to ride along). Biggest con are the brakes. They are not so great.
I bought this bike about 3 months ago, and also bought the rack and the 2 baskets. The bike is heavy, but once you out and about on it, the bike is really awesome, for the price, you get a great bike. Thinking of getting the Premium one as well.
Loved your fun video Chad! We just got our 2 Lectric 3.0s. Waiting for the 110-115 heat index 😢to pass to ride them. Will be subscribing to your channel.
A scooter and bike mated and here we have the lectric 😄 Not a fan of this style e-bike at all but great job on the review and nice to see the guys get involved.
@@ChadB They are definitely fun no matter how they look. My taste is different as is everybody’s so my not liking this style of e-bike is just my taste. Make the most affordable and reliable perfect car with a ugly grill and I’m not interested. 😂 Screw the bike…the review and how you put it all together was great. Worth the computer issues and headaches you had getting it done. 👌
@QC GUY Haha Yeah I see your taste with that sexy looking ebike you have. But just as in reality, the more sexy they are, the more money you have to spend for them🤣🤣 Thanks, the computers issues will always be a struggle with me.
Chad that is a cool eBike! I just got one (not that one) last fall and look forward to getting it out of the shed once the weather breaks. They are really fun to ride and as you said, you can go places your car probably can't. I am ready to upgrade for a little more power and speed than the one I have now because my sister's eBike is FASTER than mine! LOL! Thanks for sharing buddy!
This was a great non official review👍🏾 Dude the time you put in for these reviews is amazing along with the edits. Congrats on your new e-Bike. Keep up the great work, Chad.
So of all the models you picked it was this one eh... Also holy your edits are crazy the channel has changed a lot since the new drones came out last year
My friend has this model and he's had trouble with his batteries. He's telling me that he only is getting two of the four cells charging they even sent him another one and the same thing is happening. Do you think it's something he's doing wrong?
Chad, Has anyone createde a video with instructions for making an alternative harness and managing their Lectric battery with a SkyRC IMAX B6AC V2 charger ??
it was down to a Lectric XP or a Fiido L3, I chose the Fiido, great quality, LONGEST range available, prob 3 times the range vs XP, lighter, less problems, and lately vs Lectric, bettery QC.
@@ChadB The bike can be unlocked to 21mph, the battery is much bigger, Easy 60+ miles throttle only. Unlocked you lose prob 20% because there is only a 6 mph difference. It's a great little street bike. Fit and finish are excellent. Both bikes are good, but if you are seeking range, it's not even close. At 800 charges lifespan, it will last.
Don't waste your money if you are a senior. The bike weighs a ton.Therè built for short people. Then it's a hassle taking the battery out and putting it back into the cross bar.The key slot on the bottom of cross bar wasn't a good idea.
Good job on the unofficial review, seems decent for the price. In my opinion it's for younger people than myself, I mean I would ride it but I don't think I would ride it enough to buy it.
I just purchased the Vitilin v3 with 750watt 32mph and it a men’s bike style opposed to the electric 3.0 which the frames looks like the female style, at $949
So if the rear rack can hold up to 150 pounds does that mean that your girl cannot be gravitationally challenged because if she is she can’t ride on the back I think that’s what that means
This video shows the reprogramming directions to turn it into a class 3 bike. There's another guy on RUclips that shows how to do it also named Jeremiah Macintosh
Your range test was pretty vague. You only tested (if I heard you correctly) using varying amounts of pedal assist. That is the problem. You can get very long duration if you don't use the battery at all, just pedal. But that means it is used as a non electric bike. I think you should have done two additional things : tried to quantify how much peddling you actually did, and more to the point, clock the distance with no peddling. The manuf. says 25 miles, but you should have put that to the test.
The first thing I said was that this was not a very in-depth review. This was more of an overview. Of course, you can get longer battery range if you don't use it. I wanted to show how it performed for ME using various levels of PAS. Most likely, people will use those levels when going longer distances. To get all the data you suggested, it will take more than one video. That's more of a dedicated video. None of the tests you see out there are scientific or conclusive.
I consistently get 25 miles. I weigh 155 lbs. I mostly ride in PAS 2 or 3 pedalling 50% of the time and throttle only 50% of the time. It's not so hilly where I live.
Nice video… But you didn’t mention how long it takes to charge. With you being a drone guy… we all know how long it takes between flights. Nice stuff… Don’t really have the money for this, but it is at a price point that has my interest.
@@ChadB Chad thanks for all the feedback, one more thing...so when you ride do you feel like your legs are not able to extend all the way? does it feel like a cramped ride or is it total comfortable? Would you still recommend this bike after having it as long as you have?
Great bike if you want to go slow and not that far. Lectric is overpriced. There's other options with a better, motor, battery, charger controller, brakes, display, pedals, saddle, lights, horn and warranty.
🔥Forgot to mention...Charging time on the 48V battery is around 4-5 hours from empty
Yeah and how long has the battery lasted you
