I think the coolest part of it is that it actually shows the battery voltage LOL I don't think I recall ever seeing a head unit that will do that that is really good though so when you have aftermarket amps you will know how much current you are drawing especially if you are a basshead like me 🤣
Guys I have used both sony 920bt and pioneer 709bt. Personally my experience is best for pioneer. Sony has only good look but hardware and feature wise any time pioneer is best in class.
Yes, it comes with a mic that you have to plug into the back when installing the stereo. Then you have to place the mic in a suitable location. Mine is place just above the windshield near the rear view mirror. Not on the vents. When I use hands free, Bluetooth to talk on my phone, no one knows I'm talking through a mic. The quality is very good.
I don’t believe so. I have connected one amp and running a 10 inch woofer in the trunk. The car has full voltage when on, as per the volt meter on the stereo display. 14.1 volts when my rpm is about 1000.
When you are in tuner mode, just press the "DSPL" display button in the lower right corner one or two times. Then it will eventually show battery voltage.
This head unit is garbage...u can only link 2 devices at once and then u can't even delete them if u get a new phone to connect to it...DO NOT BUY THIS
Its up to you, but you can reset the stereo to factory settings and it will clear any previously stored phone. Then pair up your new phone. I change phones every 3 years, so this is not an issue for me. 1 Press DSPL and CALL button for 2 seconds. Resetting the unit will erase the clock setting and all presets.
I’m very happy with this unit. I purchased the unit without the CD player.
I suppose most people don't play CDs anymore.

Yeah man. I totally like the volt meter . You are right, I have never had a stereo with a volt meter. Props to Sony for that.
Most Sony's of this era display voltage, I don't know if modern one's do
Holding the Source button for a second brings up a few hidden options when you go into the menu

I have had pioneer and Kenwood in the past. They are all good brands. You can't go wrong with any of them. JVC is up there as well.
Yes Exactly pioneer is much better than sony.
Hi could you explain which wiring harness I need to buy please?
Very helpful !!! thanks man
Thanks for the explanation😍
I suggest you to update your radio in case if u had problem with Bluetooth connection before
How can I set am and pm in clock
How to activate the function that reads the battery voltage in the stereo where 12.7 comes out
Once you are in Tuner mode or the radio, you push the DSPL button in the lower right corner, once or twice. It should display the voltage.
Is there a mic attached for hands free?

Will I need a 2nd battery if I was to run amp and 2 12 inch subwoofers to this stereo

Thanks buddy
