Honestly, I'd still recommend trying to pick up PNSO's version. It looks a little off in the promo pics, but in hand its amazing, not to mention it's over twice the size of HLG's and just generally higher quality. And if you're trying to justify having two models, just know that PNSO's likely represents E. annectens while HLG's is likely E. regalis.
Safari and PNSO didn't nail the anatomy, CollectA's was good but not masterpiece level. As a certified Edmont simp, I definitely approve of Haolong's the most. Compared to all the other companies, they're doing a really good job at making figures that are like "oh, hey, that actually just looks like the animal." Hoping they do a heccin annectens at some point.
I think all Edmontosaurus models are fine, some are a little more inaccurate than others while very few are the most up to date (PNSO’s, HLG’s, and collectA’s) but if i may include there are no proportional issues with PNSO’s edmontosaurus, and i am not saying this because i am a simp of PNSO’s models, it only looks a bit quirky in the release images but i would argue when seeing it in hand or in reviews it definitely holds up to modern day standards. Its definitely up there as one of the best eddy’s on the market along with haolonggood’s and collectA’s.
Bit late but thank you for another review! I think hadrosaurs are really underrated as well, and would love for HLG to make an Iguanodon. Absolutely iconic species and with their track record with herbivores, I think it'll be spectacular.
Regalis was slightly smaller than annectens, but it was still much bigger than what the figure suggests. There are small, 8 metre Edmontosaurus specimens but they are the exception not the rule. Most are over 10-13 metres
Im still not concinced this guy is regalis, skull doesnt match quite right with it. Speaking of the size hes good for an average edmontosaurus individual being around 9 meters in 1:35.
@@dinoxels skull is the best thing to look at when trying to recognize the species, leg length also is a good thing. When it comes to combs big neck scales and such its safe to assume both had something like this going on since we have no way of proving of them not sharing these features. As of yet at least lol
Um not sure what info your reading but e. Regalis grew up to 43 ft and at 10 in in 1/35 the figure represents a 29 ft sub adult. There is a 25 ft tail of the species which means it could grow bigger. The ouranosaurus you put next to should be about half the length and half the height if both where at the same scale. Also they have a stegosaurus comming out that is monstrous and way to large for a 1/35 scale. They re scaling for this next group of figures is not making any sense.
@@TheSpinoDude ah I suppose as Spino was your favourite maybe you'll go for it or maybe only in the circumstance of it being on sale. the irony was that for where I live, PNSO museum lines are on the same price, if not a tad cheaper than Eofauna products especially the rex. I got my Spino on sale but the shipping is a little crazy
@@Austin-kl7yc yeah Eofauna rex is about 35 USD plus shipping and the PNSO Spino (which I believe is smaller than the rex) is 70 USD plus shipping for me
Lovely reviews as always master spino 🫡 i really need to get this one when i can, one thing i would like to clarify is that this is actually supposed to be E. Annectens so it is a bit of a shame that it is smaller but if you would like you can pretend it’s regalis? However the skull anatomy doesn’t fit regalis at all, lovely review though! You also chose my favorite color scheme as well

What's wrong with the PNSO?
It's really refreshing just seeing the animal they're trying to represent done nicely at an affordable price.

@@paleostories_7839 Absolutely, I have the PNSO model and its amazing.
There's literally nothing anatomically wrong with the PNSO Edmontosaurus though...
That’s a pretty Edmonto for sure!
About size, Wosik & Evans (2022) showed that both Edmontosaurus species could achieve around the same size.
Are ya' winning, diners?
Congrats on 500 vids speenodud
PNSO looks better to me in terms of details and realism. They are also different species. Both figures are excellent...

This is the first time jeff didn’t do anything crazy
He just died is all.
HowLongGood is setting other companies on FLAMES🔥

Great figure. I love your videos 💚🦖
total cool unboxing~📽
I like the edmontosaurus. Pretty good. Another W for pnso.
I hope they make a Corytho, Para, etc., I’d love that so much
LAMBEOSAURUS MAGNICRISTATUS
Hold up hol up...... Accurate Edomonto?

Did edmontosaurus have a head crest or not

Eofauna rex for sure. The PNSO Spino is so crazy expensive probably not.
