Just got this model myself - mostly because I already had the batteries for my lawn equipment. My instructions (on a separate sheet) tell me to install that metal fitting right where you were putting it - at the base of the high pressure hose. It says it's a valve - but it doesn't say why you need it. I was happy to see you using yours without it and it seemed to work fine. I will probably remove mine to reduce pressure drop. Thanks for the in-depth review - I picked up a few pointers.
Thanks for the insight Mark on that fitting. It works great how it is so I may not install it. I use it almost every day! Thank you so much for watching.
@@TerenceDIY Glad to hear it's still working well for you! I'm on a private well and we have a drought going on here so I'm limiting my water usage. Otherwise I'd be out there spraying away! I did buy a cheap set of nozzles to get the 15 degree and zero degree nozzles for jobs that require more aggressive washing. I'm looking forward to seeing how well those work. Keep up the good work.
Now I know what I'm getting in the spring! (of 2024) This will be a game-changer keeping my company trucks clean (our building does not have an outside spigot, but we've got a water source inside our building.)
I bought this item,as a catalogue return,as already had some Greenworks items. Works fine.Obviously, pressure limited, with a 40 volt motor. Great for rinsing off car .
Awesome video. Just purchased a new unit recently and want to purchase an extra battery. Just want to ensure all battery that works for 29462 will fit, even the 6AH battery pack. Thank you again.
I really like the 40v. I bought 3 of these batteries (link below) and I can use this all day because I will always have a battery charged. However, the 60v does give you twice the pressure although the batteries cost twice as much. @@TerenceDIY thank you for the response, I did some research on replacement batteries mostly people concerned about the battery life less than a year they stop working, how does yours holding up?
My Green Works battery doesn't hold a charge for that long. The aftermarket batteries are my go to. They last pretty long and continues to hold a charge. And they are much cheaper.
