Travis County program to provide 24/7 help for mental health emergencies

The Travis County Mental Health Diversion Pilot Program, which aims to provide resources to people experiencing mental health or drug emergencies and reduce the burden on the criminal justice system, is set to launch soon with an initial capacity of 25 people and over $6 million in funding.
