Put a towel in the sink so you dont lose any parts down the sink
Thank you so much for this video ! I am a widow with a limited budget & I am truly grateful for your tutorial. It saved me $$$ from having to hire a plumber ! Thank you !
THANK YOU!!! You made it so simple and to the point!!!❤❤❤
Thank you, great job of explaining .
Thank you you are a very good teacher.
Thank you very much and yours is exactly what I have been looking for! Right on the point and concise!
Help is on the wayyyyy!!!! Thank you!
Thanks for this tutorial. Why would anyone dislike this? I get the feeling sometimes that there are people who just jump around RUclips disliking videos for the heck of it. Because most dislikes I've seen rarely have comments that go along with them.
Thank you!
I dislike your comment
The dislikes are probably plumbers who are missing out on our money.
Thanks bud, got mine fixed today 👍
Thanks for this great tutorial. I do have a question though. In some other videos they are asking to change the cartridge itself, so how to know when cartridge is the problem or the washer?
Worked perfect! I didn't replace that rubber and spring....just removed and cleaned it and turned it and returned in....fixed!
I have to replace the kitchen sink faucet as it is dripping from the handle. Does it contain seats and springs also, or do I only have to replace the cartridge ? Thanks
Thank you! It’s fixed!
Need to know size of Allen wrench typically used
great video, but our faucets do not have allen screws on the top portions so how do we get them off
Thank you 👍
What parts are these springs and washers? They usually have a number.
Use a soft tooth wrench on things that have a finish
Great video!
I can't get the washer and spring out. Is there a trick to it? Or a tool that could help?
Thanks for the helpful video.
This didn’t work for me... do I need to replace the stem?
This is exactly what I needed to see to fix my dripping bathroom faucet! ty
thanks so much!
why didn't you replace the rubble washer on the white stem?
Thanks, it worked
Glad we could help!
allen wrench size ????? I think mine might be metric tried imperial
FYerI If you have the Delta RP 47422 Stem, there is no spring or seat (spec sheet says-'Not interchangeable with seat spring models.') Also Delta faucets have a lifetime warranty, but mine...A Glacier Bay from Home Depot with delta parts...not so much.
counter clockwise?
What if the handle is corroded and you can't get it off
Help needed 🌷
My faucets are all in one piece, can’t unscrew any part if it!
Does that mean I have to change the whole thing!?
Mine too. I can’t find a single video that shows one with no place to unscrew.
Thank you. I was not sure what way the rubber washer went in. Naturally, I put the spring end in first...let's just say thst didn't work!😁
Thank you for posting this comment. I had the same issue. 😊
What if you turn off both hot and cold sides and it still leaks?
Had the same problem today the hot still leaks
that means you have both a faucet leak and a bad shut off valve
I have the gate style shutoff in my bathroom. I might have to shut down Washington Boulevard.
Need to see closer.....
Them: If you see corrosion..
Me, looking at the rust that's in the shape of the stop: huh...
the nut in my faucet was so tight i couldnt get it off and ended up stripping it , Delta makes shit hardware.
We’re gonna proceed to…
That not COUNTERclockwise 2:50👎
Your water looks like battery acid on your fixture.
nope
yup
Are those "Washers" synonymous with "Seats"?
