Do you think you’re going to get bored at this power level too or is it finally satisfying to you? I had a 19 zl1 and got bored with the stock power immediately and sold it after a few months because I didn’t like the car enough to mod it.
I was bored even at 700whp after a while, but with 870 it’s f*cking fast, the only reason I’m going to mod more is because there are faster cars out here
@@jashanzr1 Thanks for the reply. I had a tune and pulley hellcat auto that made 756whp on pump 93 which was pretty fast but after a few months I still felt like I needed more. I did run a best of 10.4 @ 136 with a 1.5 60ft in +800 DA but more into roll racing/top end highway power. It's subjective of course, but have been wondering what power level would be satisfying ( a little scary) to me long term, if there is such a thing. I think having a modded Hyabusa for many years before getting into high power cars didn't help ...
@@ms3ben honestly bro I was keeping up with 700-750whp hellcats at 600wheel on the z06, it didn’t feel “fast” tho, it didn’t have that scary factor you were talking about, but now it def does, I’m more of a roll guy. I almost never give it full throttle unless I am racing 😂, it has dual nozzle meth and once it start spraying it feels like nitrous
@@jashanzr1 Lol I believe it! I ultimately sold the Hellcat because I didnt want to keep pouring money into it and being disapointed. I'm considering a new GT500 in the Spring and building that but they're quite pricey and still heavy. Maybe a slightly used C7 Z06 would be nice as well; however, as you've said, there's the pricey /direct injection fuel system limitation and and a bigger blower would definitely be needed for starters. You car seems solid.
I bout my c7 Grandsport with the LT4 supercharger converter kit already on it. I have no idea why anybody would pay to put that little crappy supercharger on when you can get the Magnuson supercharger for a couple grand more. I'm not going to pay another 6 to $8000 though when I already have a supercharger installed with other mods. I'm not tracking mine though.
