I say scone rhyming with stone but then again in south yorkshire a stone is sometimes pronounced as a "stooan" 🤣
I know there's regional variations in how words are pronounced but lose hill is definitely just that...lose as in "lose a fiver".
Grinah stones...Grinah rhyming with miner or diner. Anyhow, thanks for being a sport and not taking offence at my pretty harsh msg that I actually felt a bit embarassed about this morning. It really is a pet hate of mine though, lose hill being by far the biggest.
Cheers and thanks for the reply.
Keep doing the great videos!!
How are you with the greengrocer's apostrophe?🍏🍎
That's a tough one, but two apostrophes in one joke is funnier.
Did you know Adam and Eve were Irish?.....Adam looked down at Eve and said "O'hare! Eve looked down at Adam and said O'toole! (Better spoken than written but you get the idea)
